For those religious gamers who can't handle the pre-marital sex in this game - DON'T HAVE IT! None of the sex in this game is required. You can turn everyone down when they proposition you and you can comfortably live out your virginal roleplay right through until you sacrifice yourself at the end.

You are a person, who is against bad influences, bad language, nudity, sex, etc. in games and probably also movies and books. You seem to have no problem with violence though.

Your avatar is from Mass Effect, which lets me make an educated guess you played Mass Effect and certainly Dragon Age Origins. Both games have a very nice and artfully done romance including a sexual relationship between the player and other humans or even aliens. I'm surprised you picked these games, since there were news about sexual content already in the media pre release.

You seem to enjoy games, which have heavy content including violence, shooting, swordfight, brutal graphical display of humans being slain with plenty of blood, decapitation, half naked demons, werewolves, magic, psychic powers like telekinesis, betrayal, blasphemy, suggestion earth is older than roughly 6.000 years, sins against the 10 commandments, etc., etc. ... I could go on, but you get the picture.

According to your logic these games are not appropriate for a good faithful christian. You play them anyway. You enjoy them in spite of the definately unchristian content, especially the demonic stuff including possible human sacrifice. But you resent some naked skin in love scenes? Violence is ok, but love is bad? Logic? I suggest you think again, or stick to your bible instead of playing "evil" games.

P.S.:  I was in a student exchange living with a nice, but very religious christian family. They were nice people, but I don't completely share their worldviews and believes. I have faith in god, but they were too extreme. An experience, which lasts for a lifetime. And, surprisingly enough, I still don't understand these fundamentalistic hypocrites, who preach about no sex before marriage, and weeks later the daughter of the pastor admitting to be pregnant from her fiancee before marriage...

You see, thats where parenting comes in, you cant blame the game or even try to control the content of the games, if you are worried about younger gamers,  well mind your own business, you can monitor the content of your childrens games and no one elses,  and   free will is a helluva thing. censorship is for the dumb and the blind (figurativly speaking) , if you want to live life as a sheep then do so, but you cant make that choice for everyone else.

To be honest nudetiy in games makes them hell more fun.. and giveing them a reason to play.. and im so agiesnst the fact that 16-18 years old children should not be allowed to see hot ****** or any kind of erotic scens.. thats why I think.. Christianity is a joke.. But I respect them.. even tho I HATE when they say such things as "you should not have sex before married"or anything alike like..(Heavy Metal is a devils music! )

He actually thinks he is somehow helping us all by enlightening us to what he sees as the path to heaven. While I strongly dissagree with his views he has not insulted any of you either directly or indirectly so insulting him and his beliefs is only fueling his fanaticisim. If you want to take the higher ground then simply stop quoting and insulting him and let the thread either die or return to the topic posted by the OP.

I did not bash him, but expressed my problem to understand the poster, who presents himself as a strong believer. It's great he believes in Jesus. But what has this to do with this game? Only the fact he plays it, even though it's pretty obvious there is quite a gap between common beliefs of very religious faithful people and the contents of this game.

To me it's very surprising someone holding up his personal beliefs, plays a game with seemingly his beliefs completely contradicting content and later feels like complaining about it, or about players wanting some specific adult content feature? Especially looking towards the USA during the Bush Jr. times I got the impression of many Chrstians preferring (real) war to (virtual) love. I don't understand this. Doesn't make sense to me, that someone seems to resent all these "bad" things, but likes to play the game anyway, and later suggests developers should watch out more what they put into games. I respect the religions and beliefs of others, but I feel (especially religious people) should more respect the beliefs of people with a different philosophy.


Sorry for reacting to this. No personal offense meant. And in fact this has nothing to do with the game anymore. Besides the nudity topic is actually finished after being discussed in numerous long threads, and especially since there are now mods available for people, who want characters without armour to wear no undies.
