Thinking about making it a high-damaging semi-automatic that can shoot as fast as one can pull the trigger, at the cost of high recoil and low capacity. Probably nothing particularly unique about its bullet though. But the design is badass enough to offset this. :D


I bet the melee mod with it can do some damage lol

Posted the stats for the Batarian Pistol. Does it seem "balanced" enough?

Batarian Mauler Heavy Pistol

Type: Heavy Pistol
Fire Mode: Semi-Automatic
Weight: Paladin (1.25 - 0.7)
Capacity: 7 (56 - 66 max spare ammo)
Fire Rate: 450 (Mattock)
Damage: Phalanx (114.8 - 143.5)
Accuracy: Paladin
Rarity: Rare

Has high recoil to compensate for its powerful damage.

Though I think I've reached a limit as to what to add in terms of weapons and locations. Should I make more anyways? Perhaps this is a good time to help promote other user's DLC ideas.

I think you should focus on developing the ideas you already have further if possible and necessary, rather than creating more. An abundance of ideas is less likely to catch the attention of Bioware than an organized and well presented concept.

Loving the Batarian gun too, btw, and your suggested stats would make it nicely balanced.

I would actually give it more damage. The Phalanx already fires as fast as you can pull the trigger and has a bigger mag, so this would be kind of redundant.

At least double the damage.

Not really, as I can fire up to 7 rounds per second with the Predator and Mattock , whereas the Phalanx only fires about 4.166 shots per second. Thats about about 70% more shots, which makes a big difference in DPS.

You make a good point. Maybe I could show the appearances of each class.

Just crunching numbers here...
Lvl 1
DPS is 450RPM * 114.8D / 60s = 861
but thats if you can pull that trigger that fast without using a turbo, or a mod.
Lvl 10
DPS is 450 * 143.5 / 60 = 1076.25

Seems good to me. :happy:

But seriously though...being batarian an all...i REALLY like the idea of it having an innate hammerhead or something...just sayin...

Looks good but you've missed out a crucial and key part of DLC that needs to be addressed soon; new gamemodes.

Not survival. Survival takes little to no thought. Something similar to ME's actual missions would be good. Sabotage/assault, get the heck out. More entertaining than 'see how long you can last against loads and loads of enemies!' which is pretty much the same as our current gamemode.

What I like about this, is that it includes ideas that everyone would like. For example, I'm not too particularly fond of the idea of getting a Batarian character, but I know other people do, and I know I'd be perfectly satisfied with just the Turian and Krogan characters. This really deserves a thorough read-through by BioWare, since this is both organized AND creative, on top of just even looking professionally done. I mean, you even made power icons! Jeez, guy!

tl;dr version: BioWare, look at this. Please.
