So I'm just trolling by saying this thread is pointless, and that none of the "DLC idea threads" have ever bore fruit? Sad, enjoy your thought that will never see the light of day, much like a fix for the Vanguard bug.

Parting note: save your creativity for games that have user mods.

Pointless? Like complaining about Balance Changes? Talking about how people in matches behave? Or how annoying/fun certain elements of the game are? Or playing a video game in general?
Being creative is never pointless; sharing ideas helps spark new ones, and since BW employees actively reading these forums there IS a possibility of this inspiring an addition or new weapon. And that's just practically speaking. In general, I just find this stuff really fun to read, and having people enjoy reading your ideas is pretty much the real point of posting them. If I was an employee I'd be pretty proud of building something that people like making their own ideas for.

How you do dat? o_O

EDIT: I just read the new game-type you added... dude, you're a genius! Adding a more fulfilling experience without forcing BioWare to have to do a substantial amount of extra work to do it! Keep it coming, dude!

Don't bother explaining this to him, dude. He obviously doesn't get it.

No, I get it. Ironically there are groups created for balancing the game, where things have actually been changed based off of those suggestions. The same can not be said for DLC content.

Like I said, let me know when these "unique snowflake" ideas get implemented like the countless other threads like this. I'm not trying to hide that I'm publically mocking your efforts, because you all think the ideas in here are soooo fanatstical that they will be implemented if you just work hard enough on them and create awareness of them. This lime of thought has been walked many time before on these exact same forums.

So no, it's not ME that doesn't get it.

Yes, it IS you that doesn't get it. If you can't see the difference between this idea and the countless other ones, then you're either blind or annoyingly naive... or both, I don't know you that well. This one not only had careful thought placed into them (already trumping most others), but Soja also took the time to make pictures, find the proper models, and all that stuff. He's basically saved BioWare ALL of the planning work. They just follow his guidelines, and the only thing they really have to do entirely themselves is guns and maps. THAT'S the difference.

And if I recall, you already showed yourself the door, so... can't really take you seriously anymore.

EDIT: And the Paladin says you're wrong.

I should be clear: you shouldn't feel ashamed that you like A game enough to want to change it.

You should feel silly that you're creating Armor sets in a game you have 0% chance of changing. You're playing mass effect 3,not skyrim.

As for the paladin, let me know when he starts walking with the shield due to the numerous requests for him to do so. Arguing about this makes us both look stupid.

That's all, I'm out. Won't mess with your drum circle anymore. Change the world guys!

1. Then it makes it that much simpler to see your errors and get you banned.

2. No one said that they WILL be made real. We ACTUALLY said we don't care one way or the other, we simply enjoy making them.

And by you doing this is not only making you look like an incomprehensible moron, but you are insulting Soja and their efforts.

3. ...well...where do i begin...? This LIME?? What?
Here, I'll get you a LIME:

You're a sensitive guy I can see that but the truth hurts: this thread, and all its requests for bumps from BSN, are pointless and a waste of everyone's time.

And now...back on topic...the new game mode...curious how it would work in such "small" maps. Vs the massive area the idea came from (L4D2)

Remember Shepard's N7 Special Operations in the Campaign? Just think that, but on a larger scale.

Really Like your idea, especially having the Mercs at our side, which is a new and more practical idea and match the SP Story.

Wow, I get a forum classic "go back to your mom's basement" as I sit in my $425,000 condo in Atlanta, followed by a teardown of an obvious typo with the zealous rage of someone whose dreams have been smashed by life. Don't quit your day job, if you have one.

How does it feel to get personal? Because YOU started the personal attacks. Let me know if you want to keep this up, I'm definitely up for it.

First personal attack on this thread: :o

Miriad wrote...

This is stoner/hippie logic.

This thread is like a group of stoners passing a bong around talking about how awesome stuff could be if they could just get people involved in their causes.

I started the personal attacks? That was my first comment that came close.
And by the way...just because you SAY you live somewhere does not change the fact that you are, indeed, a cranky little child.

And no worries about my job, I won't be quitting any time soon.

As far as it getting personal? Well, I haven't gotten upset enough to go back on my word multiple times, nor have I tried to prove I'm as awesome as I think I am.

I think I'm alright, so if you'll excuse me I'm going to get back to doing what I'm on this thread for...goodbye.

edit: and PS...I thought the lime joke was quit funny, everyone here had quite a laugh about it. :D

Yeah, I like it...but...those took like...10 minutes each...and if they are too much like the current MP then everyone will just say its the same thing...ya know what i mean.

I really do like the premise of it, but I'm not sure if it would work with the size of the maps we have...

So that quote is a personal attack? Likening the logic of this thread to hippie logic in that the futility of the effort is muted by the retracted from reality groupthink? If you took an attack on the logic used as a person attack, which one of us is the crabby child again?

I would have written this as a private message see, but as you are a bit passive aggressive you blocked it. Then you took ANOTHER shot as an attempt at parting victory.

I don't see how this is going to end well for you. Not only are your efforts frivolous, but your passive aggressive nature mixed with poor meme comedy based off of typos puts on a good show by itself. Keep clinging to those red herrings!

Frivolous... you use that word a lot. I'm starting to wonder if it doesn't mean what you think it does.

And on another note... you yourself should probably stop now, you're starting to troll him. And trolling another person on these forums won't end well for you. Just trying to be a nice guy and warn you, that's all.

This was such a joy to read i read it twice.
Also, this became my favorite DLC thread since the inclusion of Warp grenades, JUST like how I imagined it to be.

No I'd say I nailed it.

1. characterized by lack of seriousness or sense: frivolous conduct.
2. self-indulgently carefree; unconcerned about or lacking any serious purpose.
