I am AscendantWyvern and this is my favorite dlc thread on the bsn forums.

I wholly would support this once i get on my computer and even if one idea comes out of this and onto the game, id call it a victory!

I'd like to see an ability like armor lock from halo reach at some point in a dlc.

Isnt the paladin's shield like the armor lock (only without the omnidirectional immortality)?

Also, if you dont mind soja, id like to suggest altering the batarian to appear different from the existing ones. That way color could be modified and still look unique.

I find that if Armor Lock were to be implemented in, it would slow down the gameplay and break synergy between power and weapon usage, but Halo: Reach and Mass Effect 3 are very different, so who knows how well Armor Lock can transfer.

The Blue Suns Batarian's armor is actually different from the other Batarian characters. And these are the default colors, you can always change them up, similar to how the N7 characters have default black with red stripes, but you can change them to bright colors too.

Well armor lock in halo set off an Emp blast when you got out of it, which drained shields. If it work sort of like that, similar to a nova blast, it can add to the synergy. It would be perfect on a vanguard.

It would differ from nova in the fact that you have time to assess the situation before you come out of it. With nova it just happens immediately.

I was sort of in a rush. I don't know if it is good, because her armor kind of looks like clay compared to the Eclipse Salarian and other Eclipse characters. Oh well, it'll do for now.

I've nearly finished every piece of my DLC. Is there anything that I should expand on? The Firebase Operations game mode, maybe? Thinking about taking a nice long break, as I've got some Mass Effect playthroughs planned for Leviathan DLC.

I can see why you'd think that, but as you also said, it's good enough for now, I'd say. The overall design is very well done.

I think you've about covered everything. The OP goes into a hellaton of detail about what everything would be like as it is, so I doubt expanding on it much would really help ^_^

Although, actually, there's a slight error with the Warp Grenades. The power evolution tree implies that you would be able to hold 3 'nades, but further down the list you said the max would only be 2. That could probably use a bit of addressing.

Hopefully this isn't too much to ask OP, but some new useful gear would be nice to see *coughcoughcombativesandguerillathermalstoragecoughcough*.
Just an afterthought. Perhaps some new mods too, but they could be for a later DLC idea.

I can't really see anything that ought to be expanded but I do think that Overpower could use some tweaking. I would start out by explaining how it would gain stacks, kills? The barrier recharge delay should probably be cut about in half, otherwise you would have infinite shield gate just by getting kills, at least make us use equipment for that.

On a seperate note, I am also doing some full trilogy runs to prep for Leviathan. Image IPB

I'll try to get to these if I have some spare time or something. I'm currently placing my priorities on ME playthroughs for Leviathan DLC whilst prepping for the incoming school year.
