Honestly...I like the idea for that sniper...not sure how well the whole "delayed shot" thing would work.
I like it, don't get me wrong, i just think it would be a MASSIVE learning curve to use it...

Wait, are you confused on how it works? Or simply on how one can use it effectively?

I understand what you typed and the idea.
I'm questioning how well players would be able to use it.
Like I said, it'd be quite a learning curve for most.

Man, what a great idea for a dlc pack. The powers, weapons and characters are very well thought out.

One thing that jumped out to me, probably because I was replaying Lair of the Shadow Broker today, is that Azure (on Illium esp.) is vulgar slang for the Asari's nether regions. I'd probably change that one.

Also, AMAZING job on the weapon design.

Thanks. Also, I've been getting complaints about this a lot (referring to Azure). Perhaps a change would be for the best.

How would the MERC's actually look?Would they wear helmets or just normal without helmet like in ME2?

Would be interesting if they could have for the Skin Tone the ability to take off the helmet.

@Soja57 I named my Illium Firebase Astra after its Capital Nos Astra

Azure, because it's an Asari world?

So, it takes place in the seedier and lower areas of Illium?

Maybe a cargo line?

That could work. When I chose Azure, I wasn't directly referring to the hotel. I simply chose it because it was a shade of blue, a dominant color of Illium due to its blue-hued skyscrapers and dominant Asari population.

BS. You could have easily named it Firebase Cerulean or Firebase Indigo but you named it that as an immature joke.

I'd love to see merc groups implemented into MP. These are some good ideas. Having a grenade class without a pylon seems a bit sketchy, though.

I wasn't aware that Azure was a slang term for a part of the Asari body until someone pointed it out in this thread. Again, I will change the name and update the original post.

Also no Vorcha's with two Grenades it would be a horrible pain in the ass the only reason it works on Demolisher is pylon

True. But do keep in mind that both of his grenades deal sustained damage (damage over time), whereas the Demolisher focuses on burst damage (spamming them quickly) with grenades. The Vorcha can launch a grenade and sweep up with melee (his heavy melee is arguably one of the best) or with powerful weapons due to his increased durability from Bloodlust and weapon weight being of little concern.

I don't think Bioware should balance classes around Platinum, as Platinum was created solely due to fan requests for a more challenging mode.

Seriously? If you know how to play even a grenade based class can be used quite effectivly on Platinum even when they run out of said nades.

If they're nade based, then they have little t no reguard for CD, meaning they can bring any two weapons they like. And those will get you through an entire Platinum match, all you have to do is get ammo...and guess what is at the ammo crates! GRENADES!!

Jeez no need to get so offensive, would be funny as not many people would realize it's slang for the Asari. Personally sounds alot better than Indigo or Cerulean.

I'm currently in the process of designing a heavy pistol, which would mean this DLC adds a weapon for all 5 weapon types (assault rifles, sniper rifles, etc.). This means 5 new weapons for your arsenal!

Meanwhile, added a new location: Firebase Vulcan.

Image IPB

Caleston is a rocky and volcanic moon inhabited by over a billion colonists. Eldfell-Ashland mining facilities are a common sight, due to the rich eezo in the mantle sulfur layer deposited by an ancient asteroid impact. I imagine the Firebase to be similar to Vulcan Station from Overlord DLC of Mass Effect 2.

Could you tell me how you did the logos please?

I didn't make the old power logos (the powers that Bioware already made), only my custom powers.

I created these logos using Adobe Photoshop and Flash Professional CS6. You can also use Adobe Illustrator if you are more familiar with it. Flash is to allow you to draw/trace lines and shapes and color them in. Photoshop is for cropping out current ME3 power icons, which I use as a template for my new powers. You can download a free trial for 30 days for the programs, but you have to sign up and download Adobe Download Assistant. No big deal, really.

First, open up the evolution tree for your desired power (let's use Biotic Charge, in this case). Take a screen cap (you can do this by using Print Screen key, Video Capture Programs, or in-game console commands), and open it with Photoshop. Crop out unwanted areas around the icon, then save it as an image (preferable as a PNG file). You have successfully extracted power icons from ME3.

Custom Icons:
Import the image in Flash and trace the icon's outline with new lines in a new layer. Paint a gradiant in, making sure that you copy the color gradiant of Biotic Charge icon's background. Change your created lines to the same color as the icon's outline, and you have a custom template for your new powers. You may want to import the icon into Photoshop and add finishing touches like a slight glowing effect to follow Bioware's style.

The difficult part is creating entirely new power icons. I simply follow Mass Effect's style with my own twist. Biotic Charge has two shades of blue that are useful for creating your own icons. Sometimes I crop out or trace certain elements out of Bioware's icons, and implement them into my own, as you can see in my Polonium Grenade, etc.

oh i know that  . i meant the firebase ones :D

Jesus Criste just came up with the sickest idea ever!
Did you guys play ME1?
The uncharted worlds where were Geth Outposts?
How about there was actually a big area (Like exploring on uncharted worlds with a little more flatened terrain so the player can actually climb hills)filled with geth outpostes&snipers and a new mission objective Destroy Outposts?
This would be amazing since snipers would actually be usefull(They were before but still) but I take it that it would require a lot of AI changing.
