I ran a Turian Sentinel with a Mattock on Firebase Rio and when I started the match I noticed the Mattock's "firing" audio wasn't playing. No sound on hitting enemies either. This was only for my weapon. I could hear everyone else's weapons and powers just fine.
This is the second time this has happened at Firebase Rio. Both times I quit the match and immediately tried to play another multiplayer match. The sound issue stayed. When I restarted the game, the audio was back to normal.
I'm just gonna avoid Rio from now on, but I seriously hope you guys at Bioware are keeping track of these bugs.
