I used to be kicked for using Claymore on Asaris:o, it was a big reason long ago, but people don't kick for it now, time changes.

People think that not having a dodge is really terrible, even though Batarian has good movement speed and good shields. People don't try him because they think he's ugly or because they failed to find out how to use ballistic blades correctly. Or they think inferno grenades suck.


BTW you should've just said to the lobby: I AM REDJOHN. 
Then watch their N7 levels drop down.

I would love to see how do you use melee, because in fact, I'm the biggest noob when it comes to use melee with Batarians.

That's the main reason why I skip Blade armor, i've tried it lot and LOTS of times, but it seems that it doesn't fit with my playstyle, that's why I started to focus in my actual playstyle, deal massive amount of damages to enemy to kill them or at least make them weakier to my teammates.


PS: If i made some grammar fatal mistake sorry, it's 3 am and Im sick with fever, also i'm not native

dunno.  i was playing with a group of guys i play with sometime.  i pugged into their team of three (this was when i first met them).   Anyway they were all playing adepts or human sentinels... i was playing a batarian soldier.  gold. cerberus. dagger.
He's a phantom killing machine.  i was using my trusty scimitar.  (dunno.. works great on him.) he pretty much handled anything that got too close to the biotics.

I love my hybrid build with melee/weapon damage/shield recharge x2 + multicapacitor V, but lack of dodge is significant still (for Plat, that is).

I played with a batarian today who blew my mind.  He was destroying everything.  They are more than viable for platinum.  Sorry you had to put up with those morons.

I don't understand why people thinks that Batarian is bad, when in fact is one of the best characters in the game, perhaps they think that because Batarian also requires skill, lot of it, and too many of them can't do sh*t with it.

Anyway, something similar happened to some of you? , is Batarian good, bad?, platinum worthy?, what is not platinum worthy?, WHY?, where is my juice?

My blue suns batarian soldier is my strongest class (other than kroguard) on gold. I go without blade armor and focus on weapon damage. My vindicator and graal keep me in at least 2nd place so I don't see why that isn't acceptable in Plat

People kick for stupid reasons lots of times. I was playing platinum for like 5 games and topped the scoreboard every game by a good margin(I know score doesn't mean much). We completed wave 10 every single game, then I set up my GI indra build, and one of the guys was threatening to kick me if we didn't complete wave 10 on the next game. We actually finished that game like 3 minutes faster than all our other ones, so I guess I showed him that you don't have to be a specific build/character with a specific weapon/equipment to do well on platinum. BTW the batarian after the recent buff is such a beast.

I don't use blade armor either, but even so, his heavy melee will take away a Hunter's shields and big chunk of health on silver. I only really use it to dramically finish off whatever is left after the exploding ballistic blades or if they're already staggered.

Don't worry about the english, you can mess up a ton and we'll still know what you're saying.

Batarian Soldier is very skill intensive. You will have to be really good with a Geth Pulse Shotgun X to make this build shine.

I can somewhat pull through with a Batarian Soldier (GPS X and Stronghold III equipped) on Gold but I don't have the skill to pull it off on Platinum yet.

This is the great RedJohn that we're talking about here...

1. RedJohn doesn't farm. He solo Platinum on U/U/P with a Locust X for kicks.
2. I don't believe you. Anyone else, yes. But not RedJohn. He doesn't just die 3 times on wave 1. You might have gotten him mixed up with another player on the team.
