Things I like about Mass Effect 3 MP:

1. It's a co-op. I tried PvP before, not fun. Too much bad blood and swearing
2. Carnifex headshots to Cerberus mooks
3. shooting Brutes in the bum with "a gun that should not be named in fear of nerfing" + adrenaline rush
4. fire 'splosions
5. funny PUGgers with mics, and me trolling others with random snatches of funny songs
6. the gossips and the rants and the tears on BSN
7. randoms enveloping me in Justicar bubbles or throwing a geth turret when i'm deactivating a 1234 objective

:-)

I like playing the multiplayer because it's multiplayer. Halfway through ME2 I kept saying "they should really make a co-op version of this, or someone should mod one out" and this is sort of it. I wish we could do more, like playing through some serious missions and such, but this is good.

I just love Batarian punching and Krogan slapping Phantoms.

Never fails to cheer me up.

This is a serious topic. Trolls will be flamed. With FLAMING ARROWS!

Now, On to the topic. I love that when you or a team mate get a killstreak, the points go to all members of the squad.
I love how you can finally play as a Krogan, Geth, Drell, Asari, Quarian, Batarian, Ex-Cerberus operative, Non-Shepard N7 Marine.

I like:-

1) Headshotting Primes.... oh wait...
2) Not getting hit while im in cover... hmm
3) Krysae and its ability to shoot fast.... damnit
4) The Falcon and its ... they wrecked that too didn't they? Image IPB
5) Hunters - i like hunters, i can't target them in cloak they can't target me in clo... oh f*** *** Image IPB balance team.

The ME gameplay at its core is a rock, paper, scissors game with third-person shooter elements. Add in excellent story telling and I've been hooked since ME1.

I doubt any other game will replicate that same form of simplicity while actually being deep, in the same way I doubt any FPS game will ever be as simple but compelling as the Half Life series to me.

I love the fact you can try different classes out without having to start a new campaign (6 times if you want to try all of them).

I would always play adept in SP, ever since the MP I have found better weap/power combos and have tested out other classes I would have rather shoved in a closet. I discovered my love for Engineer and Infiltrator through MP.

And yes playing other races, new maps, new guns and cooperative gaming lol

I love playing Mass Effect singleplayer, but I found love for multiplayer. When I bought the game I was thinking about singleplayer... but it has changed.
I always loved Vanguards, firsh the Novaguard, then the Phoenix, which was much better for me. But when Slayer came out... everything was forgotten. I always wished I had a katana, I could teleport... and now I can.
Of course, now I found some love for other races and classes... But nothin can be compared to slayer.
When I see Slayer it's so hard to come back to 'normal' Shepard.
I love the coop in ME. Not the vs but coop, to play together to finish the mission.

I love the extremely satisfying way in which Cerberus mook's heads explode.

And the shadow backstab ability.

And the Drell Adept's dodge.

And the occasional 2 UR draw from a PSP.

I like walking up to people and head-butting them with my Kroldier.

I love it when they head-butt me back with their own Krogan.

Also: I love the variety in characters and weapon choices, and combinations and whatnot. Some of the most weirdly-paired classes + builds + weapons result in me chuckling my way through matches, and I always seem to do better with them than I do with the cookie-cutter builds.

In single player, I only get to play as Shepard. In MP, I get Asari, Drell, Krogan, Geth, Vorcha, Batarian, Quarian, Salarian, Turian, even ex-Cerberus dudes.

I get to play with all kinds of people from all over the planet. (Yes, I play pugs. Mostly.)
It's co-op, so player killing is not an issue.
Variety of weapons, classes, powers.
Holding back and watching other people have fun killing things. Krogans, Batarians and Vorcha are fun to watch. (Not something you really want to do outside Bronze, though.)

Jiggly Quarian Bumbum.

Nothing is more satisfying.

While I do agree with you, I must say, watching a Phantom lose her head to her own medicine is what dreams are made of....

I do love the MP and for several reasons, but the primary one is this...
Image IPB
Quarian pride!
I love all my Quarian characters and play them all pretty evenly.

Races/classes I love being outside of Quarians
Soldier - Turian, Krogan, and Batarian
Sentinel - Turian, Krogan, and N7 Paladin (Human)
Infiltrator  - N7 Shadow (Human), Salarian, and Humans
Vanguard - Asari, Drell, Ex-Cerberus, Krogan Battlemaster
Engineer - Salarian and N7 Demolisher (Human)
Adept - Asari, Humans, Asari Justicar, and N7 Fury (Human)

I love the teamwork - Maybe not always but you know your team has your back and you in turn have theirs. You're not this one lone person trying to combat a vast horde of enemies, but part of a team trying to complete the mission. Unless of course you actually plan to fly solo lol.

I love that the enemies have different fighting styles. Reapers like to swarm you, Cerberus uses tactics, and the Geth try to use overwhelming force with tactics.

I love that there is no true pvp - Sorry PvP desired folks, you wont have my support. But I am one person still lol.

I love a lot of things about the MP. I have things I would like to change, but I am overall happy with it. But going from Wave 1 to 11, I always remember one thing... WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!

- Playing with batarians, drell, krogan, vorcha and N7 shadow (in that order)
- Killing phantoms with shadow strike in 1 hit (when properly equipped). Finally some up close and personal insta-kill payback!
- The few PC players who do use a mic are usually fun to play with. From what I've read on the forum Xbox and PS3 players aren't that lucky :D

You'll have to pardon my soap boxing it up a little.

Ah, the joys of a game where you can be a woman who's not squishy, or squishier than most guys, nor is she stuck in a support role like many games plunk women into.

Strong, capable women who can fight in an assortment of ways!

Bioware's progressive stance towards women's roles in videogames is why I love ME, and ME MP. I can't imagine many other games that offer girl gamers who want to be their own gender such variety, and doesn't stick to that infernal trope that women have to be squishy/support/healers/archers/mages a lot of games cling to.

Other reasons?
Certainly!

Co-op MP. For the longest time I wanted repeatable missions in Mass effect, and behold! ME delivers, sorta. All the mass effect styled shooting I could hope for!

Bots are becoming rarer and rarer in favor of forcing PvP, and I, personally, hate PvP.

ME MP offers the opportunity to be my favorite alien species, the Quarian! To this day my fav character is the Quarian female engineer. I appreciate all the characters I play, but I enjoy QFE the most.

That's it off the top of my head.

I like the fact that it gives me an opportunity to play more; I felt the single player campaign didn't actually let us play much. Short fights followed by long cut-scenesor pre-rendered sequences. Cinematic is all well and good but I don't want a film, I was a game damnit. The multiplayer allows me to feel like I'm actually playing the game instead of just moving from cutscene to cutscene.

When the leader not only allows you to play human female infiltrator with a predator, but readies up before another two players turn up. That game was fun on so many fronts.

I really like the camerderie you get on ME3.

I still really enjoy the gameplay in general, mixing powers and guns on the fly.
