Eve gives Shepard a crystal she dug her way out of the cave with during her Shamanic ritual and says, "In the darkest hour, there is always a way out." Hmmm.....

Oh, wow, I remember thinking that seemed important when it happened, but then I must have completely forgot about it.

Reminds me of this

Exactly! Maybe Shepard has it on her and clutrches it at some point...Who knows? But the point about things like that when you write a story is - Don't draw attention to something you are not going to ever mention again or you cheat the reader!

Eve doesn't give it to Shepard, she just shows it to her. It's a part of Eve's backstory, not Chekhov's Gun.

Although not in a Mass Effect game, a statue of the SR-2 appears in one of the Close Quarters BF3 maps on a library shelf. - May have been mentioned elsewhere but wasn't mentioned here.

In a Mass Effect Game: The Shepard VI makes a joke about being put in a Mech, then quickly changes it's mind "Put me in a drone and strap a cain on it!" - My favourite line.

Although I'm certain most of you know both of those things =D

Similar to the thing about Turian names, most asari names end with the letter a

E.g Liara, Benezia, Aethyta, Samara, Rila, Mirala, Nassana, Irissa, Seryna, Shiala, Sha'ira etc.

One thing that stood out to me was in ME1, and yet on my 4rth playthrough I noticed it, but when you're in the Wards, you hear two people talking about the Destiny Ascension and when you look out the window, you see the DA flying close by. It was a great moment to witness.

I'm talking this moment: www.youtube.com/watch

In ME2 while walking in any of the hub worlds, you hear the news sometimes (not the news terminals you activate, but random, voice only, announcements), most of it is about stuff you did in ME2 and ME1 but... one of those is a commercial for blasto the first hanar specter, in the commercial he says: "enkindle this!" and the announcer says it will be in thearters soon.

She gave it to me!  Made me feel even worse about sabotaging the genophage cure.

I just noticed on my last ME2 playthrough that Admiral Koris vas Quib Quib sometimes yearns for a respectable ship name like the Deferens or the Ectomy.

Is this from the Normandy medbay conversation? I could be wrong, but I think your imagination made the leap from her showing you the crystal to handing it over to you (we never actually see the crystal so perhaps there's some ambiguity stemming from that and the animation). If I'm mistaken, is there a very clear scene/dialogue where she makes it a point to give it to you that you can show me? I've never seen anything like that in my playthroughs and my Shep totally bonded with Eve; so now you got me (albeit skeptically) curious.

Other thing. There were rumours about Miranda being a LI option for femshep in ME2.This is because some lines bewten femShep and Mording, about femShep having a relationship with Miranda. This is due because Hale and Meer readed the same script while recording.

Another one I forgot to add. If you completed Citadel: the fan, feros: data recovery, UNC: asari writings, and you obtain the Elkoss combine license (all side quests in me1), talking to Conrad verner in me3 BEFORE you fix the medigel dispensers (docks: holding area) will give you extra dialogue and a "Dark Energy Dissertation" war asset

You can fix all the medigel dispensers before talking to him just don't go back to the doctor.  I like the idea that Conrad was finally useful if you had done all of that but there is no difference in war assets if you did all of that or just get his paper that he wrote in college.  Curious about this, if you don't save Jenna in ME1 does Conrad really get shot jumping in front of Shep at the end of that quest?

They explain this with a convo from EDI about the Reaper IFF allowing them to spoof the reapers.

Amazingly enough, said woman can succed after the fall of Thessia as well.

Balak mentions the Leviathan of Dis as the reason why the batarians failed so spectacularly against the Reapers.  Strangely though, he only does this if you played Bring Down the Sky and let him go.  If you didn't play it, he doesn't mention it.  And if you killed him, his replacement doesn't mention it.  Curious.

If you get drunk in Purgatory, you wake up on the couch next to Aria, who then gives you a cryptic look before the screen fades.  I wonder what that scene means.

Who is that talking at the 5:00 mark?  I literally cannot tell who that is.

Edit: NM, it is Padon Wiks.

actually there is a difference if u do all those side missions... very little though, if u didnt do them, it only counts as 1 war asset, but if u did do all of them, it counts as a total of 5 war assets... yes u read right, all those side missions which took so much time in me1, add up to a total of 5 war assets. the same amount as choosing one conversation option and letting diana allers on ur ship... She's actually given it to me every time during that conversation.  I don't remember the exact line now, although my current save is about to start this part, I'll pay more attention.

Regarding any other references, it's an Easter Egg, it doesn't really need any more references.

- The Illusive man wanted to recruit commander bailey in ME2. I suspected him, and still do, of being involved with the cerberus attack. Despite the evidence it all seems too convenient...

- Almost everyone you meet saying "The right choice is usually not the easy one." destroy ftw.

- The volus from Noveria in 1 who watched his colleague get killed by rachni sends you an e-mail in ME2 mentioning how this could all be "an ugly hallucination before a beautiful afterlife."

- Garrus' father has a radio conversation with Garrus, while he's trying to flee Palaven. His father says his sister has a broken leg, and the radio cuts out just after what I presume to be a reaper horn/growl sounds.

- The Krogan poet from Illium in ME2 dies in the Rachni caves.

- During the dream sequences the shadow figures gravitate towards the child for some reason. Eventually encircling him.

- Balak always appears as long as you didn't kill him...., Even if you sent him to prison
- Spacefight: What's described in the codex is quite different to what actually we see in the game.

this is may or may not be common knowledge, but if u give legion to cerberus in me2, recruit morinth in me2, and fail to do the grissom academy side mission (while having jack alive from me2), u fight against them at some point in the game (morinth as a banshee). it even shows their name

Wait for the best!

In Mass Effect 3, when you complete the game, you get 3 endings. Blue, green, red. Sorry, it had to be said.

All the cinematography in this series feels like it's from a play. Everyone is always gesturing along with their lines, and have very defined entries and exits when coming and going from a scene.

Also, there's the bit after Geth Dreadnought where Legion arrives in the War Room and freaks out all the quarian admirals. Thing is, he arrives just after you eject Admiral Gerrel from the Normandy. It occured to me that surely they would have bumped into each other while waiting to pass through the loading screen/door. Given Gerrel's attitude towards the geth, how was there not some sort of diplomatic incident?
