I am just recently starting DA:O and i am interested in being a dw warrior and would appreciate some tips on how to start speccing and what talents to pick up, also i am looking to be able to just play on normal difficulty while using mainly my character so i need a bit of survival too. I have no DLC so i am just running normal origins.
Thanks in advance

General tips:
- Pick daggers. You'll thank me. (Rose's Thorn & dragonbone Crow Dagger are best)
- You'll want the heaviest armor you can get and use.
- Acquire Dual Weapon Training ASAP. (I know, obvious, but sometimes easy to forget)
- Consider Momentum mandatory. It is entirely too strong to ignore for dual-wielders.
- Spec up into the Dual Weapon tree when Dex is high enough; only the first two are really 'needed' though.
- Strength & Dexterity are both important; you need Strength for damage, attack, and armor prereqs, and Dexterity for defense, attack, and dagger prereqs. Favor Dexterity a little more, but do not skimp out on Strength.
- 16 is the most Cunning you'll need for skills. If you have a party around, play to their strengths and invest in something a party member does NOT have (let Morrigan do herbalism, Leliana stealing, while you take Coercion for instance).
- Ignore the Dual Striking tree.
- Invest in the Powerful tree up to Bravery. Powerful is +25hp and -10% fatigue; Bravery is +3% phys/mental resist, +1 damage, and better crit chance when outnumbered. Death Blow is fairly pointless, as a DW Warrior is dealing damage via autoattacks, not talents.
- Templar and Champion are probably your best bets for Specializations; AOE knockdown is pretty boss.
- TEAM THOUGHTS: Set yourself up with another two dual-wielding companions with Momentum; since you're the warrior, use Leliana & Zev (and remember to use Zev's Mark of Death). Setting Leliana up as an Assassin is also a great idea for more backstabby goodness and another Mark of Death. Pick a mage who you like and set them up for crowd control (glyphs, mass paralysis, winter's grasp & cone of cold, etc.) and support (Healer/Arcane Warrior has worked beautifully for me). Set the other mage up as a light support & nuker (bloodmage).

Don't worry about the early difficulty in the game, as the game gets much easier once you leave Ostagar, especially once you recruit a certain spirit healer companion.
Thorn of the Dead Gods (tier 6) is also a nice secondary dagger. The Rose's Throrn is the best one overall in Origins.
While momentum does make your dual-wielder quite powerful, you may feel a bit too powerful, especially later on in the game. I actually prefer to reserve it for the tougher fights where certain dangerous enemies must be slain quickly, and play without it otherwise.
If damage is your thing, you may also want to consider the berserker specialization.
Overall, it's hard to screw up with a dual wield character, as you will be able to dish out damage, especially once you get your attack rating (accuracy) up.
You'll need 42 strength for the best armor and 30 dexterity for the best daggers. If you focus on strength and dexterity, which you should (don't worry about constitution or the other stats), you can have over 50 of each by the end of the game, which will give you a good mix of damage and defense.
