I bet all the people who didn't finish DA:O stopped at The Fade.

I will admit there were multiple points in DAO where I just wanted to quit. The Fade, The Deep Roads, and the Andraste/ mountain quest. Hours of just boring combat, with very little dialogue spiced in between is so monotonous and awful that made be so bored and hesitant to go further. Luckily I did, and DA:O became one of my favorite games, in spite of what I mentioned above.

That's not surprising, on average all games are completed by 33% of the gamers.

Kind of leaves you speechless. I've been gaming since 1983 and I can count the games I haven't finished on three hands.
No wonder companies are doing so many crazy things these days. That's a majority of their income from players that are completely disinterested but apparently loaded.

Who says I am defending the ending? Comprehension isn't your strong point, is it? I am commenting on the disingenuous link between the quality of the ending and the fact that the vast majority of people didn't finish the game. Most people don't finish most games. I wonder how many times this has to be stated before it sinks in? High-five for you though for coming to the completely independant, critical conclusion that the ending 'sucked'. Also, I am impressed at the fact that you researched the meaning of the term fundamentalist. The internet is a teaching tool afterall!

Actually, I'm in the top 3 percent in comprehension skills accrdng to the tests I took, but that's beside the point. My comment was strictly in my own personal choice. You contested it and then refererred to fundamentalists. I guess my error might have been in assuming you quoting me meant you were taking the context of my words and argueing it preceded by insinuating my inbility of coming to my own conclusions in quality directed to the second person pronoun "you" as meaning me as opposed to a random expression of an irrelivant point. If you are just randomly spouting nonsense, then I apologize for assuming you were insulting me directly. If you thought it was an ending devoid of intelligence, then I also apologize you for defending the ending and thus caling you a fundamentalist.

58% of people are professional video game reviewers.

That's how I do it, right?

portal 2 was completed by 54% of the PC players...this is pretty high.

THIS

I'm honestly surpriesed whenever ANY game reaches 45% completion rate...One of the reasons why portal 2 has such a high completion rate is ironically one of the reason why it gets downrated in some reviews.

What was it...6-7 hours I believe?

See I never got this how only 42% of players finished the game and it was less for DAO and the others. I find that bulls*** I mean how many people play games and don't finish them. ME3 is the exception

Because most games ARE too long...

I can hear the disbelief from BSN but anything over 10 hours for a SP is way too long for most games...

Red dead redemption, great game with a very nice story had only a 10% completion rate...(personally that I thought was weird...think the developers are using some funky math there) but even Portal 2 only had a 56% completion rate.

A game that takes about 6-7 hours to complete and only 56% of people finished it?

Bleachrude no offense if your one of those people but how can you not complete a game. I admit I never beat red dead redemption because I didn't like it. But I just don't see how it is so hard to beat a game if it is good

Last game I finished that was over 10+ hours was ironically DA:O

I just never feel the need to complete most games I have (I consider Bioshock 1 and System Shock the best games of all time, and I've never completed either - favourite series is uncharted and only finished the last one)

I must be weird, I try to finish all my games, I have to really hate a game not to finish it.
