9 months after launch the game was reported as having
roughly 50% completion rate = high 40's. That is as opposed to ME3's 42%
5 months from launch.
Melo states the ME3 number spiked this year to 56 as a result of ME3 coming out.
Therefore both ME2 and ME3 were in the 40's (high and low respectively) during the year of their launches. You're looking at a single digit difference between the percentage of people who completed both games.
