I got it fairly quickly.. although later than some people because I was a PS3 player.
However, I did not really use this weapon because of high recoil.
But over the time... things changed a lot.
A LOT for hurricane.
High-velocity barrel for SMG, truly great mod only when equipped by hurricane.
Other SMGs benefit from this as well, but the result is not nearly as good as hurricane ultimately due to lower DPS.
Stabilization amp. Not very useful for most of other guns, but extremely useful when combined with Hurricane.
This item was available for a long time, and I am sure many players have this item more than they need.
SMG damage amps. All of us have too many of this!! No need of explanation!
To make long story short.. now we can counter all hurricane`s weakness with consumable items while exponentially increasing its lethality at the same time(Heat sink+High velocity recommended).
Result?
Full biotic or tech character holding Boss killing Hurricane with minimum charge penalty.
Creation of character with no weakness.
Out of all N7 promotional weapons, there is no weapon that can match the usefulness of Hurricane.
I am not saying Nerf the Hurricane, Oh god, please No.
But if you haven`t it`s time for you to utilize the Hurricane one more time to experience its awesomeness.
If you don`t have a hurricane, I really hope you do get it with this weak`s commendatio pack.
It`s so good even at level I.
