In the cutscene for Morrigan's ritual before the final battle, if you choose to do the deed yourself, the music doesn't play, so the cutscene is essentially silent.  It does play if you get Alistair to do it instead (yes, I tried both).

Also, if you have any sustained effects, they aren't turned off during the scene, so you glow through the whole thing.
