Favorite spells:

• Auto dial local restaurant for delivery  (when I'm too tired to cook)
• mix Cape Cod (although that's more crafting than spell slinging)
• Straight to voice mail setting on incoming calls (because people are dumb and annoying)
• public toilets that auto flush when you walk away (because I'm not touching it.)

I combine Virulent Walking Bomb and Crushing Prision while the mob is in the middle of a grp of enemy the mob dies and most of the ones around it is either dead or seriously hurt

-Mana Clash is just too strong I must admit draining all mana AND dealing equal damage, I STEAM ROLL any elite or higher mages in this game, especially on higher difficulties. It needs fine tuning, to make the fights more balanced.

-The Repulsion+Paralysis glyph combo is also a brilliant spell.

-Death Hex with Melee companions, Sten + Alistair + Death hex is a very short fight.

Champion's Warcry with Superiority.

I love running into a pack of darkspawn and just laying out the entire group. When I first used it I was surprised how far they got knocked back.

The entire Hex line. Great support value, mix in some melee and AoE and it's limb-soup.

Force field and crushing prison

i use Force field as a curse on bosses so i can finish off the minions first

and crushing prision i use that on mages or other retarted mobs

Mana Clash, instant kill for 99% of all enemy mages you'll encounter

My new favorite spell is Mana Clash. I love the way this AoE knocks out spell casters instantly.



My most used spell is Cone of Cold. The maneuvering to hit just enemies and not friends is fun. It is definitely not a spell you load into the tactical menu of a caster. Soon, everyone is frozen. hah.

Not a spell, but a mode... blood magic. Even without blood sacrifice it means infinite mana with no need to use potions.

I have a couple I really like.



Cone of Cold: Dead useful-decent damage and it locks down enemies.



Crushing Prison: Awesome damage and a useful way to get people out of the way as well so you can deal with others.



Walking Nightmare: I love how this disrupts the enemies and it makes tough fights a bit easier by messing with the enemies' head.



Force Field: Great for protection, but 9 times out of 10 I use it to paralyze an enemy so I can take care of the others first.

blizzard is pretty fun. heal is my favorite spell though because i literally cant live without it.

Enemy still alive? Fireball

Would you rather roll your face on the keyboard instead of using your fingers? Fireball

Prefer to fly instead of running? Fireball

Alistair getting annoying? Fireball

Alistair still alive? Fireball

Enemy grabbed your party member? Fireball will knock them off for sure!

Party member near death? Well they won't be after a good hot FIREBALLING.

I have to say my fav spell is Blood Control. Walking into a room packed full of enemies and stunning all of them is just an awesome feeling haha.

glifs repulse and the petrify used together they can be cast do fast and have a pretty short cool-down also IMO. In all the forced fights you can cast repulse before you trigger the fight , then after dialog petrify = freeze almost everyone FTW

I'm also in the Sleep + Waking Nightmare camp. Love the Misdirection / Death Hex and ofcourse the eternal Cone of Cold / Blizzard.

Glyph of Repulsion. First thing I cast when I see something running on me. Blood Wound next. With that combo I feel next to invincible.
