Because they don't know how much the gamers are familiar with the history of Knight Templar, Jaques d Molay, Inquisition and French Revolution....

There are a lot of game developers out there being busted up, gamers today are not just gamers...even worse if someone make it a religious or non religious campaign for not buying the product due to "subliminal satanic freemsonic Illuminati thingies" in it...there is silent campaign of awareness all over the world....

...Or they're just being careful given the reception of DA2.

This is a spoiler thread. The books are canon. If you don't want spoilers then avoid spoiler threads.

So anyway....

I'm not convinced that Sera would be very likeable, but then that's what some players have been asking for, and her connections could lead to some interesting quests.

I'm also not sure I'm interested in a tal-vashoth who's so far removed from the Qun that he's practically human. I really like having someone so blunt and unique in their values in the party.

I really like the idea,  the fact that he is so different from the usual is what would make him so interesting in the first place (for me anyways ).

Aw, re-read - you'll see that I meant I'd like to have a kossith who still has some connection to his/her roots, not another Sten. Though I did love Sten and really couldn't get enough of him.

I'm sure I'd end up liking him - but if you'd be able to squeeze his personality seamlessly into a human, elf, or dwarf, I'd feel like I'd been cheated out of a unique perspective is all.

I can't really see them cutting the option of being a mage out of the game, although I'm guessing we're stuck as humans again and can't pick a different race.

But if the play the Inquisitor Will Not Be Able to choose the mage class. So it must be fake. They can not impose our class hero. Someone likes to play a warrior, others prefer the other rogues and mages.

This seems to be getting weirder.

I like the Sera one, I'm imagining her like Neeshka from NWN2, she was my favorite character in that game. Make her like Neeshka, and romancable (like Neeshka was, only ideally the romance would also have a middle, not just a beginning and an end like in NWN2), and I score her a 10 out of 10!
