Inquisitor doesn't restrict you from being a mage.
How do you know? After all, their job is to hunt the mages.

Fight fire with fire.
Who better to hunt a mage than a mage? Plenty of mages work with the Chantry in the lore, it's more logical to assume it would be possible than to assume it's not unless one wants to be dramatic and asusme the sky is falling.

Intimidated mage, gets a last chance.

Why? Because I doubted the last five BioWare leaks and each one proved to be accurate.
Insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

I don't understand why people are getting up in arms about being forced to play "Pro-Chantry". There is nothing mentioned about the new "Inquisition" that suggests pro-anything.
An "Inquisitor" is someone who inquires. What they inquire about is entirely up to them or their employers. Unless the Chantry runs the Inquisition (and given its loss of power, that seems unlikely), there's no reason to assume the Inquisitor is a pro-Chantry character.

Thankslike I said before, some of the ideas on features and gameplay were orgasmic
So there was more to the survey than just the story bits you posted? Like gameplay and so forth?
O yeah, it was all very intricate, Discussing everything from romance, specializations, game length, fighting styles, game world exploration, cameos to the characters own Teyrnir
What kind of person wastes their time inventing and then making a thread like this? Don't you have better things to do?

There are threads far worst than this.

How the heck do you get 'someone is obviously pulling the strings' out of what happened at Kirkwall?

No, that's a skinner box. You keep doing it because with enough repetition a different result will happen.Maria Caliban wrote...

And that description of the Iron Bull sounds poorly written, if not fake (I too, have trouble believing someone with an Allers avatar). He's not a qunari, based on the description of his personality.

We're gonna have a male qunari again?the Bull? I'm not sure i read that well.
If it's the case ,hope they make him a romance , need some qunari love!
The names are really really bad , i guess it's placeholders.
I don't know what to think of it , I hope it's fake , but if it's real , well i guess describing a character in a few lines doesn't make it justice.

Deliberate leaks aren't cool.
(PS. The lore behind that supposed qunari character doesn't make a lot of sense, for a couple of reasons.)

Assuming it is true, though, it does sound interesting. Already starting in a position of power (somewhat) and then increasing your power base through the course of the game should be fun. :-)

Although... we had enough trouble with Oghren getting drunk all of the time being only three foot tall. Do we really want a seven foot tall belligerent Kossith running around camp?
Also - just went through the whole thread and I don't know how we swung from "totally inaccurate and implausible" to "well, that seems legit" in the span of a couple pages? I'm still saying that while the OP may have not made this material, it still hardly seems real.

I've kind of wondered this as well. In my limited experience with NDAs, what the OP did would be, at the least, highly looked down on.Firky wrote...
Shouldn't this be covered by some kind of non disclosure agreement?

I agree. The whole mage/templar conflict isn't that compelling to be anything more than just side stories to me. Where's Morrigan?
