I’m sure everyone is sick of thread about the end of ME3 but I was
thinking about it the other day and came up with an ending that I just had to
share…so here we go. Also note that unless stated otherwise all points in which
Shepard is player controlled remain the same.

Start: The scene in which Shepard is talking with Anderson at the top
of the hill in front of the Conduit before the charge.

Shepard begins his charge down the hill toward the Conduit with his
squad members, alliance soldiers, and soldiers from the other various races
whose loyalty Shepard has secured. As Shepard charges down the hill the
surrounding forces are decimated by Harbinger’s beam. As Shepard nears the
conduit a tank pulls ahead of him and is hit by Harbinger’s beam leaving as
nothing more than a charred husk flying through the air. The tank hurtles
toward Shepard who leaps backward, the tank landing no more than a few feet
away. Shepard is left slightly disoriented by the near miss and as he regains
his bearings Harbinger fires a beam directly at Shepard, which causes a white
light to engulf Shepard briefly blinding the player. As Shepard awakens,
surrounded by the destroyed tank and piles of dead bodies, he hears chatter
about some small success against orbiting Reaper forces. Despite this the tone
is decidedly grim as Shepard also hears about the annihilation of the entire
team rushing the Conduit, himself included. As Shepard begins to get his
bearings he locates a nearby pistol that was not destroyed in the slaughter.
Shepard struggles to get to his feet, badly injured, and begins stumbling
toward the Conduit. As Shepard makes his way to the Conduit he is attacked by
several Reaper troops, three husks and a marauder. After dispatching these few
enemies Shepard takes the last steps and enters the Conduit. As Shepard is
taken into the beam is pulses brightly.

·
Note that in this sequence Shepard is being
indoctrinated.

Shepard is then thrown from an endpoint of the Conduit beam and lands
of the floor forcefully, knocked out. As Shepard wakes and gets to his feet he
notices that the room is filled with piles of human bodies and Keepers sifting
through them. Shepard then notices that his comm keeps buzzing with static.
After several seconds of fiddling the signal clears and is instantly
recognizable as Admiral Anderson.

Anderson: “Shepard…Shepard, are you there? Come on Shepard, talk to me!”

Shepard: (Grunting) “Ya Anderson I’m here”

Anderson: “Thank goodness you’re alright. I got pretty…erhn…banged by
Harbinger and when I woke up you were headed through the Conduit. I tried to
follow as quickly as I could but it looks like we ended up in different places.
It must change where it…uh…ends everytime something is sent through.”

Shepard begins to make his way forward as there seems to be only a
single direction to go. At this point the normal dialogue between Anderson and
Shepard about the strange surroundings occurs. As normal Shepard progresses
forward talking with Anderson until he reaches the round room in which he sees
Anderson.

·
Note that TIM has been linked to Shepard by the
reapers to make the indoctrination attempt seem more real.

The normal scene here between Shepard, Anderson, and The Illusive Man occurs.
However this time when the player choses how the respond to TIM there is a
somewhat more significant impact. If the player chooses to paragon influence
TIM then he will commit suicide, but a war asset will be awarded to the player
as this causes TIM to fight the reapers control and through his implants free
some of his Cerberus operatives. Though more heavily indoctrinated agents such
as phantoms and atlases remain under reaper control. If the player chooses to renegade
influence TIM then again he commits suicide, but in this scenario TIM begins to
succumb completely to Reaper control and so uses his implants to fry the
nervous system of all remaining Cerberus operatives as a final act of defiance.
If the player gains both full paragon and renegade a third influence option
appears that allows Shepard to help TIM to break Reaper control long enough to
free all Cerberus operatives from Reaper control but dies from the exertion. If
the player has neither enough paragon or renegade points then they must choose
the renegade action to shoot TIM to save at least themselves and possibly
Anderson. If the player consistently chose either paragon or renegade influence
in other interactions with TIM the number of paragon or renegade points needed
is reduced, except for the scenario in which full points in both is required.

After dealing with TIM Shepard opens the Citadel to allow the Crucible
to be delivered. The normal conversation between Shepard and Anderson. As
normal Shepard is contacted by Hackett and eventually is taken to the God-Child
room. (I know I hate the God-Kid too but I think he might actually be usable as
a character) Shepard has his normal conversation with the God-Child however
this time there are only two options, control or destroy. If the player chooses
control then he is presumably indoctrinated and a game over message appears.
However if the player chooses destroy then Shepard resists indoctrination.

(I plan on posting the rest later but I just wanted to get the first part up and get a general sense of how people feel about the few changes I have made at this point. If you have any questions about plot holes I may have left please ask as I should have an explanation for many of them.)
