This is a trio of short-stories that I started to write based on the rumors surrounding an old version of the ME3 ending before the Extended Cut ending came out. I only finished the first part before the EC, but I recently decided to finish the other two parts anyway since not everyone liked the EC as much as I did.

This story features a specific Shepard character I've written other fanfic for (Mark Shepard, Colonist, Sole Survivor, Male). That said, I avoided making too many references to previous story decisions and fanfic arcs, so a few switches here and there can replace my Shepard with your own. The assumptions to change are:
- Garrus alive
- Haestrom explored in ME2
- Catalyst appears as apparition of most important person in Shepard's life (in this case a fanfic character)

The first part is titled The Catalyst. At the end of the page is the dialogue wheel to choose which of the two endings to follow.

The second story is called Ultimate Sacrifice. This is only for readers that accept the offer presented by the Catalyst in part one.

The third story is named No Compromise. This story details how events play out if the Catalyst's offer is rejected.

In addition to the stories themselves, each segment begins with a background music link to YouTube that plays the ME song I listened to while writing each piece. I obviously can't force you to read with these playing, but I recommend it.

I hope someone enjoys these stories. I sure enjoyed writing them.
