Hello People,

I'm having an issue where my game is freezing every time as the arms of the citadel are opening. It's right after the Illusive Man says his last words and dies. The game just freezes up as its transitioning to the next scene and I can't continue.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there any way to fix this? I'm currently deployed and I really don't have the kind of connection out here that I want to use it to reinstall the entire game.

I've developed the same problem.  This is my first  second final playthrough with my fshep, meaning that I've finished the game previously with this shepard and now I did a second playthrough but after installing the EC...I've had two crashes in the past hour with my computer locking up tighter than a drum. 

Any suggestions?  Fixes?  Work_arounds???  Please help.

When a crash always occurs at the same spot, it means the installation is corrupt. In Origin, right click ME3 and use the repair function.

I also have this problem but repairing the install doesn't help :|

If this is during a cutscene from the extended cut, maybe repairing the addon will help.

the bit where the game freezes is not part of the extended cut

Everything past the evacuation scene is the Extended Cut. They game uses the DLC files instead of the base game files. Try deleting the Extended Cut DLC and downloading it again. The Extended Cut file folder is called “DLC_CON_END” in the DLC folder.

is there any way to delete the extended cut dlc and install it again through origin or do you have to reinstall ME3?

Deleting the Extended Cut DLC then using the repair install option may work. To repair the Mass Effect 3 install just right click the icon on origin and select repair install.

I tried that but it just says im missing the dlc and that it's installed so I just reinstalled it
