Dragon Age 3 is listed as one of the attending game at Gamescom 2012 among other impressive titles such as Half Life 3. I don't know if this is true but it would be a perfect time to announce Dragon Age 3 (Origins came out in 2009, DA II in 2011 and... well DA III in 2013?). What do you guys think about that?

There's no way to verify that this document is legit, but I'm interested in GamesCom now. We'll find out soon enough.

The document is on the official Gamescom website. It also mention (in german):
- list is subject to change
- some games might be behind closed door and invite only.

Half life 3? hehe i had good laugh thanks.
I really abondened my all hope about HL3/episode 3. Valve will show TF2 Horde mode probably and maybe some DOTA 2 but HL3?

Hells havent frozen yet!

Edit: Valve announced they are not even joining Gamescom...

Few months ago , someone proposed me to go to gamescon , hotel paid , with press pass...and I said "No , there won't be any DA related things , It's gonna be boring ".
/cry.

Anyway ,even if it's gonna make me cry inside even more and maybe slam my head against my desk , I hope we'll have some news about DA3.
I wouldn't mind if it's coming out in 2014 , but i'd like to have a idea of when it's gonna be release.
Because waiting without a clue of what's going on for years , kind of suck.

It's worth mentioning that according to twitter some of the devs are attending (and looking foward to) a rather early meeting this morning, which happens to be half an hour after big EA's press conference starts. Combine this with the possibly-real-possibly-fake synopsis leak and I'd say it'd be well worth watching the press conference, at least.

Also this. Bear in mind that as far as I know all of EA's other titles on that PDF list have already been announced.

So the document is legit, but now they say listing DA3 and HL3 was a mistake. I wonder if it's a mistake because they won't be at GamesCom, or because they wanted to keep it a secret. Probably the latter. Priestly hasn't denied it, so I'll keep my hopes up.

It is probably a mistake, becase there is nothing to release. They only left pre-production in June. We are not going to see anything on Dragon Age 3 until the middle of next year, or the end of next year.. Lol, I have no idea how long it take to code a game.
To see what I am taking about Google Dragon Age 3 production.

It might be announced; however, they also had DA3 listed for E3 and it was never mentioned. Maybe it's one of those games most likely they expect to see. Considering that we are in the 18th month since DA2 was released, I kind of expect something (anything!) this month or next. They are already halfway through the developement time for DA Origins (exculding the extra half-year for adopting it to consoles.

Update: Dragon Age 3 and Half-Life 3 appearing on the Gamescom-compiled list of
games at the show was "a mistake", the organisers have told Eurogamer.

The mistake could be that the games appeared on the list prior to the show. They could still be announced. Stay hopeful.

I would prefer this:

DA3 = 2014

If Bioware spend the proper time on it then maybe it could be great and even *almost* on par to Origins.

Depends on how long they've been working on it really. I suppose two years is enough but longer would be even better.
