I recommend that in order to play the ME3 Multiplayer difficulty level that you have to have a N7 Ranking or have logged a certain number of hours actually playing multiplayer.   The way it is now will ruin the Public search if it hasen't already.   This magic number is tier driven, and this needs to be implemented soon in order to preserve the intergrity of the difficulties, they are being overrun with the wrong players and inexperience players, there needs to be some order because you can search for a Platinum match now and see a N7 1 level 1 attempting to play, doesn't make any sense to me.

Bronze - Any N7 Ranking (1 - Unlimited)  (0 - Hours Min)
Silver - N7 Ranking 500 (500 - Unlimited) (50-Hours Min)
Gold - N7 Ranking 900 (900 - Unlimited) (125 Hours Min)
Platinum - 1350 - and above (1350 - Unlimited) (500 Hours Min)

This will keep the difficulties appropriate to the players, people like myself can't stand being in a Platinum match with a N7 Ranking 100 or for that matter a level 1. on Platinum...it's ruining the Public Platinum searches. Please fix immediately., and this forces people to level up and try different characters, in a Platinum match you'll suggest that a player switch to a character that can better help the squad and the N7 Ranking 1 or 100 has not a clue what class or character we are talking about, I believe SIL, Gold, and especially Platinum should be EARNED not given away, just like the weapons and gear are earned through game play and packs, a new person should have something to look forward to, and not buy the game today and play PLATINUM 5 min later, it's suppose to be the hardest level, but with a N7 Ranking of 1 or 100, it's turning out to be a BIG JOKE. And this will keep the Missile Glitchers that are still out there on Bronze, because most of their N7 Ranking are under 250, so it lets them know if you want the good credits LEARN TO PLAY THE GAME....

If you disagree Bioware and think giving people Platinum and Gold that just bought the game then I suggest you do away with the EARNED PACKS, and just start giving away Harrier X and Black Widow X....since you believe that earned is not applicable to the actual game, but weapons and gear ARE.....DUUUUHHHH

N7 rank means little. Some people don't like promoting characters. For a long time I didn't. Also there are people below my rank better then me. I know this.

**** no, sorry but yours is as stupid suggestion as they come, most of the really skilled players i play with have less than 700 N7 rating. Hell one has an N7 of 240 atm, and he is one kick ass sentinell. the ****ing N7 rating means NOTHING!!!!!! the n7 240 guy btw. can solo silver and gold faster than me while i have nearly 4,1K N7. just more proof n7 means jack****, please empty your topic.

I like taking friends new to the game right away into Platinum farm matches so they can get cool stuff... but I know going in that I'm going to carry. They can run a Human Engineer and spam overload/drone and still help the team plenty.

But yeah... I feel ya OP. I'm amazed at some of the super low N7s that try to PUG Platinum, without a mic, equipment, etc.

um....I am a 400 and I do not promote often....I play silver all the time. The ranking system does not mean you are good. It means you play alot and promote alot.

N7 Rank is not <, > or = to being a good player

Not sure if I agree for both bronze and silver but Gold and Plat, probably yes but not to the extent of N7 900, perhaps somewhere mid 200 hundreds. Again this varies from player to player. I did single player on the xbox and switched over to the ps3 for multiplayer (yes, not willing to pay for gold subscription) so even as a double digit n7 ranked player at that time, I still had a good idea what I was doing.

The idea about hours played might be better ..... or equipment levels.

My N7 rank is 1349. Because of that one point I should not be allowed to play platinum? Bioware won't implement this. Your not the first or last to try this. People that keep petitioning this are wasting their time.

No. Hypothetically a 120 who doesn't promote is as good as a 6000000. I'm a 300-and-something who rarely (if ever) promotes, A Biotic class with a shiruken I can be just as good as one with a Paladin X.

If I was to try and go for the middle ground, I'd say limit by manifest completion, but I won't. Anyone with enough experience can be of help if they pick a suitable class for the job, and unfortunately we don't have an experience ranking, only an irrelevant promotion one.

Lol, I've got Gold friends who would not be allowed to play Silver under those requirements...
