It's not that odd... He buys a lot of recruit packs I reckon.
The thing I think is strange he only has 44 squads promoted, so 44 x 30 = 1320. So he shouldn't be playing Platinum either

That's all. I destroy people on all difficulties, have only played for 270-odd hours, and my N7 is 360 and not liable to increase anytime soon... except when they run personal promotional events.

I can't imagine it hasn't been said hundreds of times by now...but that's a pretty bad idea. I've only just broke 500 but I've played silver way before this, and I've done pretty well with my groups. I don't plan on playing any higher, because I recognize I don't have the skill for it really. I don't have it now, and I don't think I'll have it at rank 5000. I promote all the time, because I do like starting fresh and making small tweaks as I play, but I know a lot of (subjectively) lower N7 ranked people who don't promote because they have their characters where they want them, and where they have already been proven to work at those higher difficulties.

I'd say at best, you could say that nobody should play above Bronze with an N7 of less than 20. For all you know, that 20 could just be one character that an individual has maxed, and continued to play ever since, ignoring all other characters, but could otherwise have maxed things out.

Please fix immediately., and this forces people to level up and try different characters, in a Platinum match you'll suggest that a player switch to a character that can better help the squad and the N7 Ranking 1 or 100 has not a clue what class or character we are talking about, I believe SIL, Gold, and especially Platinum should be EARNED not given away, just like the weapons and gear are earned through game play and packs, a new person should have something to look forward to, and not buy the game today and play PLATINUM 5 min later, it's suppose to be the hardest level, but with a N7 Ranking of 1 or 100, it's turning out to be a BIG JOKE. And this will keep the Missile Glitchers that are still out there on Bronze, because most of their N7 Ranking are under 250, so it lets them know if you want the good credits LEARN TO PLAY THE GAME....

If you disagree Bioware and think giving people Platinum and Gold that just bought the game then I suggest you do away with the EARNED PACKS, and just start giving away Harrier X and Black Widow X....since you believe that earned is not applicable to the actual game, but weapons and gear ARE.....DUUUUHHHH

No offense, OP, but maybe you should go back to WoW or w/e other MMO you play. This is a casual game, not a job. I've been playing MP since the demo and I still don't think my total playtime would add up to 500 hours. Also, forcing people to promote and re-level is absurd.
