lol, that is a complete useless thread... I play Gold and Platinum on a regular basis and I'm N7 360. The friends I play with range between 240 and 700. I think the real problem is that you don't have decent people to play with and that you can't carry PUG matches.

Going to have to say no, I've been N7 120 for a long time. If for some god awful reason this was implemented then, OP should have their N7 rank reset to 0 and play-time reset to 0. Seems only fair to limit your fun since you want to limit everyone else's based on N7 or an abundant amount of playtime.

Well, I have read a few of your comments and I appreciate all feedback.....however I still find it illusional to join Plat at a level 1, not with your friends but in a PUBLIC match, you have 1 point to put in an ability...wow...ohhh and you have an Avenger 1 also, with NO AMMO, NO ROCKETS, NO Medi-Gels, but I'm still reading comments that disagree....all I'm going to say is I put in 100,000 to 200,000 to help my squad, I refuse to play with someone that want's me to pull out the wheel barrel with my squad, our friends would not expect such childish treatment ....Funny because have of you that commented are the same ruskies that cry about USE YOUR MISSILES....lam'o'as

Haha, that means I can't play on Silver yet (N7 400ish here) Yet, I have carried teams in more than 1 game and I can hold myself in Gold... thanks but no thanks.

I didnt read either. And just to tell, yesterday a N7-twentysome (new member) joined to gold lobby, and someone wanted to kick him, but I just pressed space..then the others too, we started playing, and it was good to show him/her how you need to move against the enemy, when the time for run, how to take cover against them to let the chance for grab the enemy and still not to let them come so close, how you should make objectives, when u should use missiles, and s/he looked us at every wave, and every "turn" in the waves, I went to near him in the cover, help. and I enjoyed it, it was quite a fun.

I know there are some people playing gold and platinum that should not, but trying to restrict people by some statistic just will not be possible - too many exceptions.

I've played since launch and only have N7 of 800 something, but I play gold all the time now. The N7 is meaningless except to identify a very new player.

No, sorry... You can only do bronze with that pathetic N7 420 according to OP.

OP, this is a bad post and you should feel bad. Although you're right that people shouldn't show up for difficulties they're clearly not ready for, but the game gives you the tools to deal with that: Play with friends, or vote to kick them.

Full extraction with only one level 20 character, two players below the 1350's OP bar, 3 players under the 500 hours' OP bar. For non-french speakers : Reactor/Geth/Platinium.

Characters (in ranking order) : N7 Destroyer, Salarian Engineer, N7 Demolisher, Human Soldier.

To OP : get friends and play with them. Nothing to add. The only bar I'd agree is tN7>=120. Nothing else.

People gotta begin somewhere, if it means a harsh lesson in plat, or getting kicked and yelled, that is preferable compared to your totalitarian/Natsi attitude towards the matter. And sounds like you should complain at the person, not call for some ludicrous system to be implemented to crap the game for everyone.

It's a bad idea, not only because N7 ranking means little but mostly because it would split the already shrinking playerbase and make lobbies even longer to fill.

Bioware already tried a N7 ranking based matchmaking system and it didn't go well. It sometimes took hours to fill a lobby.

That is completely different though. You were saying you want N7 ranking restrictions implemented and that has nothing to do with playing a level 1 character with an Avenger 1. Gerneral advice to you: Focus more on the level of the character, the class synergy with the others and the general loadout and then you will be fine.

With your system in place i would only be able to play silver as my n7 is 270. Dont promote, aint gonna start. Been playing since day 1, do more than avarage on gold

Please fix immediately., and this forces people to level up and try different characters, in a Platinum match you'll suggest that a player switch to a character that can better help the squad and the N7 Ranking 1 or 100 has not a clue what class or character we are talking about, I believe SIL, Gold, and especially Platinum should be EARNED not given away, just like the weapons and gear are earned through game play and packs, a new person should have something to look forward to, and not buy the game today and play PLATINUM 5 min later, it's suppose to be the hardest level, but with a N7 Ranking of 1 or 100, it's turning out to be a BIG JOKE. And this will keep the Missile Glitchers that are still out there on Bronze, because most of their N7 Ranking are under 250, so it lets them know if you want the good credits LEARN TO PLAY THE GAME....

If you disagree Bioware and think giving people Platinum and Gold that just bought the game then I suggest you do away with the EARNED PACKS, and just start giving away Harrier X and Black Widow X....since you believe that earned is not applicable to the actual game, but weapons and gear ARE.....DUUUUHHHH

K, so I shouldn't play Gold or Plat. Ohhh wait, I already finished Gold/Plat on all maps against all factions.

I understand your pain when you play PUGs though.

Maybe I missed this in the OP - Why not vote-kick him? Failing that, find a new lobby? I do completely agree with you that an N7 rank 1 should not be in a Platinum lobby, period. The game has built in tools to fix the situation though.

I don't promote unless wanting to respec or Bioware encourages me with a free N7 weapon...so only N7 509. I'd better not play Gold then or those who have played 125 hours only, may have to carry me...LMAO.

This could work but make it so that silver/bronze has no requirements and gold/plat have 100 in requirement this will allow ppl to play what they want but it will also make it so you dont have to play gold pugs with people below 100 who are usually ****

Shove it, you condescending @#%%. Under your little scenario, I'd be stuck at silver, despite the fact that I've been playing since the game came out. I've done countless runs on gold and platinum, and have always been a major contributor of each team. The fact that I don't keep promoting and releveling the same classes over and over again to artificially boost my epeen doesn't make me a poor player. It makes me a player who knows what builds he likes to use. If you're having trouble finding good teammates in public lobbies, my recommendation is to MAKE FRIENDS and do runs with them. Judging by the attitude you exhibit in this post, however, that might be easier said than done.
