Tomorrow I'll try to upload it.
Gold/Reapers/Firebase Rio
I played the demolisher try to go rambo (I felt really guilty because was the first "rambo" time with that character), the other 3 are pugs so no teamwork at all: 1 human sentinel, 1 vorcha soldier, 1 paladin sentinel. No infiltrators, no destroyers. I used Harrier X, sentinel carnifex X, vorcha striker X & graal X, paladin PHAESTON X. For the equips see the video tomorrow. It's not a great playstyle. But if I can with 3 pubs and my "skills" for sure someone else can do this.

It's just the lack of an insta-kill that is fooling you. I think you like cover. As more of a run-and-gun type of player, I have no fun playing Geth because they render me immobile with half their attacks. I don't even get what you're saying. I've always thought Reapers were the most fun to play. And Cerberus is by far the easiest.
This except for reapers being the most fun. and the only reason why not is magnet grabs are unpredictable and BS sometimes. I'f i'm fact to face and get grabbed thats fine even a teleport behind me i can love with. when a banshee pull me from the middle of the reactor to outside it when it never even passed me or anything and i never ran by it isn't lag its BS. moonwalk of death is no fun. Phantoms, atlas, brute OHK are all predictable and avoidable. Banshee's isn't

This thread contains some of the worst arguments I've seen on BSN yet, as to why the Geth are supposedly so hard and cheap...
"They force you to use cover"
"Certain classes are bad vs. Geth, but no classes are bad vs. Reapers"
"Primes are cheap, but Banshees are easy and are not cheap"
I really have to wonder if people really believe these things they're writing, or if they're arguing just to argue.
lol extaclty. this thread is funny and not becuase someone has a wrong opinion (no such thing. it can be dumb but an opinion can't be wrong) but becuase of the reasoning behind it that makes no sense. its liek saying i like honda's better the BMW's becuase the BMW gas pedal is funny looking and has its battery in the truck

I find Banshees easier to avoid than Phantoms. Geth annoy the crap out of me... I also hate stomp executions.

The only 2 units that should give you trouble are the Marauders with their Phaeston XXX and the Ravagers acid that prevents retreats when low on health, everything else is easy if you are aware of their presence.
Banshees are too loud and noticeable, you don't want them close to you, but surely you can't just run away as soon as they pop their head and scream, you need a plan.
Geth are annoying because as soon as they stunlock you, your plan goes fubar and you have to try 10 times harder just to survive (when you lose the rhythm of the battle).
Also the Geth Rocket Glitchers are less noticeable when you are behind cover, and honestly them and the hunters are the units that cheat the most in the game.

you are lying. Prime and hunter never stun you running. Only rocket trooper can do this. Just run after he shoot his rocket, problem solved. If there are many rocket troppers, many primes and etc, it is your fault that you didn't run out before. And still you can use a rocketsilencekills wrote...
60% to70%? That's great...when it works.
it always works unless you have completely unplayable pingwait you said that he puts turrets in perfect positions to chew you. And this is wrong. You can take any cover you want, but prime can't throw his turret everywhere. So it's not perfect turret position, it is bad your position.silencekills wrote...
YES PERFECT POSITIONS! COMPARED TO WHERE THE PRIME IS AT THE MOMENT, HE THROWS THEM IN POSITIONS WHERE HE SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO AND THESE POSITIONS ARE OPTIMAL FOR TARGETING AT LEAST ONE PLAYER! Unless you are joking. You are joking, aren't you?
I'd believe you on the Prime, but I know i've been stunned by a Hunter while running. Get me right in the back.
60-70%= allways. OK.
I also said he wall hacks before that. The point on that was that they WILL throw it somewhere that it can shoot you. You can get plinked. No, he can't throw it anywhere nor is that the problem. The wall hacking is the problem. I'm cool with it if he throws it somewhere behind me and i'm facing him. It's when he throws it through a wall or a couple of boxes that annoys me. He's pretty good at making good your positions into bad your positions.

Sure, Banshee magnethands are cheap. But so are multi-rocket troopers, and Prime corner-curving bullets, and Hunters shooting upside-down, frozen, stunned, on the floor, basically anywhere, and Intangible Hunters. (I get it, they're invisible. That doesn't make them intangible. Warp should not just sail right through them.)
Geth complaints are just more frequent because they have more units that "bend" the rules.

Really everything else in the Reapers is designed to force you into the LoF of the Marauders and Ravagers. Those are the killers. Banshees and Brutes are just a way to drive you from cover. The Marauder Elbow XXX is the only thing close to the stupid overpowered Geth units' cheese levels.
Cerberus is almost a joke. They'd be a total joke if it weren't for their turrets. The ATLAS is slow and easy meat. The Guardians are also and easy targets. Phantoms are only a trouble if you don't see them coming.
The Geth OTOH are just silly - and this ignore the magic of the Geth hop to avoid everything.
GRT and their rapid firefire and instalock missle sucks. They also will fire them before they can really see you and they curve in insane ways to hit you.
GH - fast, shockingly hard to kill (I want the hunter mode they have), insane gun and immune to staggering
GP - Flamethrows with far more rnage than they should have - again I wish my Vorcha flamer caused damage 5 meters beyond the flame animation.
Prime - stunlocking main gun that will also home on you, super cheesetastic placement of their turret and a turret that is a big time killer on its own that has a gun that I desperately want.

hunters which shoot at you even when flying.
geth are "playable" on smaller maps with good cover and tight spaces. on larger maps no, it's just hell.
I've had platinum geth on hydra (was random/random) and first 3 waves was very hard. I personnaly prefer to solo 5 brutes with 5 banshee than one prime with his 2 turrets.

1. There are many classes that put geth in their place. Namely any tech class, especially demolisher. Just the fact that a vanguard and soldier can join the squad increases the variety by even more.
2. I highly disbelieve you take any tech class and do good against reapers.
N7 Paladin is good against reapers. N7 Shadow is good against reapers. Most tech classes are more than capable against Reapers. Anyone with incinerate or carnage will also be effective against Reapers.
I'm not even going to respond to how much stupidity this one post held. wow.

Oh and just throwing out there for people that say there are two types of ways you can play this game with different factions. The ONLY classes that I have seen successfully run around and rambo reapers are geth with pirahnas. Even biotics held some kind of stationary position. So if you're basing an entire difficulty of one faction off of a setup that everyboy uses..........................then maybe i should try that setup so i can get vengeance.
You can run around killing things with a LOT of classes. Infiltrators, Soldiers, Adepts, Vanguards.
Engineers and sentinels might be suited for a more defensive gameplay, but you can still run around and kill things with them.
If you can post ONE single video from anyone anywhere with them running around as a demolisher against reapers on gold or platinum by themselves or with a team that is not full of geth with pirahnas - Not only will you have my deepest respect but as well as me deleting this topic and thread.
Note: This won't happen. (and when i say this won't happen i mean you won't find that kind of video or even be able to pull it off yourself. just being clear).
Yes. It does happen. If you have a PS, I'd love to show this to you first-hand, with many characters. One from each class, even. I do it all the time with randoms and friends. At least on Gold. As far I as I'm concerned Platinum is a camping mode. But that's not what this is about. Here; just to be helpful, I'll tell you my build for the Asari Justicar (she's my favorite, but really you can use anything mobile), since I have no idea how I would get a video off of a PS3 without a camera.
Biotic Sphere - maxed. Rank 4 radius upgrade. Rank 5 DR upgrade. Rank 6 Warp Effect.
Reave - Maxed. Choose all things that increase damage given and DR recieved.
Pull - Maxed. Go for area pull, Dps while pulled, and Increase Biotic Effects.
Asari Justicar - get it to rank 5. Choose the power upgrade for rank 4. Rank 5 is up to you.
Fitness - The first 3 ranks.
This is my own sentinel, of sorts. I always use a Vindicator (damage + stability mods, very underrated gun IMO) and a Talon (Disciple or Carnifex/Paladin works too. Just put AP mod and ULM on the sidearm) to frightening effect. Points don't matter to me, but I feel it necessary to point out that I'm always in first place by at least 20k every time (ok, except GI Piranha builds. But seriously, those builds require zero skill and kind of ruin the fun when you can kill a Brute before it can take a step) . The basic strategy? Reave enemies often, pull troublesome loners/groups like husks and reave/leave them for a group kill, or to use as a "trap" for when other enemies get close. Reave is what will keep you alive, and bleed your enemies dry. Along with the constant weapons fire, nothing really lasts too long. Use the Biotic sphere for when you decide to camp a little, or when a boss is coming near.
I'm not trying to tell you I'm awesome. I'm just trying to tell you that you don't appear to know what you're doing. You sound like the kind of guy that favors raw power in exchange for all else. Although they play a role, that won't work as well with the other factions. As you said earlier, geth are predictable (except when they're not). You shoot one, it dies. They cannot block your powers, and they cannot insta-kill you. That's great. Nothing new there. If that's been you're experience so far, I'm going to have to tentatively label you a "camper". And that's fine. It's a sound strategy. It just...doesn't work with every faction. Different factions require different playstyles. My suggestion? Put the melee heavy classes back on Tuchanka and grab an adept or anyone with a decent gun. Reapers are not hard. Not by a longshot. Just give Banshees a wide berth, and prioritze your targets. Marauders and Ravagers first, Cannibals, husks, Brutes, and then kick that Banshees ass. Alternatively, you can use the Banshees rushing speed against her. Lure her out ahead of her minions, strip her barriers and proceed to give her the business with whatever you happen to have in your hands. Above all, try to use common sense and aid your team. Cerberus is easy. No need for a guide. Watch for turrets and phantom groups.
I apologize for the rather patronizing tone, but seriously; why is this thread still going on? Your opinion is not fact. Others are giving you suggestions, and from the 12 pages (yeah, didn't finish) I read, you seem too stubborn to actually believe/give their suggestions a shot. It's a little insulting when you claim that "no one" could play a gold game with reapers without GI or camping. Just because you can't, doesn't mean no one else can. PLEASE tell me you have a PS3, so I can show you enough to get you to stop posting nonsense in this thread.
Edit: Oh my God. You are on PS3. Then, we, good sir are going to have to play a game together. My PSN is the same as my user name here. Just sub underscores for the spaces. I've got to warn you though. I gave my TV away as a gift, and left my power cord in another state. Just send a message if you want to play. I'll get my problems taken care of soon.
