It's a wildly awesome gun. Put the stability mod and HVB on there and destroy all the things. Now that mine's at IV it's light enough that I use it on a number of my casting classes.capt.jon wrote...

You have to be N7 to be able to use it right.
When you train with the gun, it becomes asskicker.

The recoil does scare you at first but when you get used to using it its pretty good.
Short bursts or close up shots or stability mod.
It isn't that good for very long range, that's what sniper weapons are for anyway.
Also...
surprised we made it given the dismal numbers from just a day before was it?

Kaotican: we were only 1/3 of the way to the goal with less than 24 hours left, then they went silent and we "won". They went silent regarding the numbers. I do not believe it. It's not being negative, I just take their own empirical data and can't make sense out of it. Because it doesn't make sense to anyone who was watching the numbers come in.
There is a smell of crappie on this "victory". TBH, I'd probably fudge the numbers if I was them too.
Untrue. When the stats were posted on Saturday, there was still around 40 hours to go, which is somewhat more than 24. I know this because I mentally calculated the numbers at the time, noting the clock at the top of the screen. You say they 'went silent', but in truth what Bioware did is what they said they would do - namely, give us one update on Saturday to let us know how we were faring, and then left us to it - just like every other Operation weekend. As for 'watching the numbers come in' - you weren't - we had one update and that was it, there was no rolling tickertape or anything of that ilk, which the sum of your words clearly implies.
For the record, the weekend for em over here in england began at 6pm on Friday, and ran through to 12 midday on Monday. So thats 6 + 24 + 24 + 12 hours = 66 hours. The stats were posted around 26 hours in.

The recoil of the Hurricane when fired from cover is also much, much, much better than when fired in the open--even without any stability mods at all.

Posting low numbers may have caused a rallying cry that got us over the top. I'm not sure we would have gotten it otherwise.
Besides, it takes time and effort to tally all of this up, burning up people's weekend time. I do appreciate the updates. Perhaps one day we will have real time updates. It would be nice to see each and every time you get a mission accomplished to see the numbers go up.

Arppis, Use a stablizer. Also be prepared that the gun is going to climb when you fire it.
