This reminds me of my old Biology professor who always made the mid term exam so impossibly hard most of the class either just failed or were clinging to 50%, thus he had our undivided attention for the 2nd part of the year and the final was a breeze.

I get my Victory Packs on Tuesdays and my Commendation Packs on Wednesdays. I guess that is normal.

I got a Rare gear in my Victory Pack. Good. IMHO, I think the Victory Packs should contain at least 1 permanent instead of all consumables. That way it's not just a glorified Equipment pack. Even an Uncommon gear is a permanent, even though technically an equipment. Just my opinion, but I would always reward people for their participation like that, if I were Bioware. The Commendation Packs have an Ultra Rare (at least mine always have), so that is definitely a reward.

Given that it took until today for them to compile final numbers, is anyone surprised that the numbers update that came out on Saturday was less-than-current?

It sounds like those numbers didn't take into account Saturday evening or all of Sunday (Pacific Time). If that's the case then I trust the final numbers.
