I use more medi-gel in a handful of matches than I've used them entire series prior to Mass Effect 3 combined! Medi-Gel is expended too quickly in my taste and needs to be improved. Either we should spawn with full health and shields, have a longer invunlerablity period or we should be able to revive downed teammates from afar just like how we can in the singleplayer.
Another thing is, I think you should go into battle with your Medi-Gel and use them normally BUT once you run out, you can resupply at an ammo box. But once you use all of your initial Medi-Gel, no matter how many you got from the boxes, you come out empty-handed just like how we do now. This would allow more access to gameplay and less frustrating waits, no?

Not a great idea..

Where is the challenge if you can constantly revive yourself after being downed? This would essentially equate to God mode if you are unable to be killed.

Overrated.

I like the idea if somehow getting more MG, but I think it would be better if you had to earn it. Maybe you could get one for each kill/assist medal that you get?

Ridiculous op, once your out, your out. Personally I think we should simply unlock capacity & automatically have all 4 consumables available to use every game. This way you can't horde them and willing to use all the consumables. Only issue is everyone would probably use them before there there actually needed on higher levels! I think I'd save mine for the swarmers . .

No, but I'd like my op survival packs to refill my shields completely. Too many times I activate it and have shields stopped regen at ~10% and gunned down anyway or the stupid pack initiates after I'm incapped.

If only we didn't fail Operation Broadside, our medi-gel capacity would have increased by 1

I totally agree with this. Nothing more frustrating for me than to use a ops pack only to get one shot cause for some reason the game doesn't know fast enough that I should have full shields and health.

I used to use a lot of Medigel, such that my stock of them was always a low 40ish compared to the 150+ stocks of my other consumables.
But then I started using my other constumables a lot more. And in the process, I found I needed to use Medigel much less.
So if you too have wildly unbalanced levels of other consumables compared to medigel, start using the others more.
Use an Ops Pack when you're at the Health gate but within cover (because if you're out of cover it probably won't save you), or if you need to make a mad dash into open space, or if you just got hit by a Banshee ball of light or need to run through Ravager blood (hit it immediately in these last two cases, or it won't save you).
Instead of letting yourself be overrun, or trying to revive a teammate who has been overrun, or letting yourself die again after using a Medigel to get yourself back up, use a Rocket.
If you run out of ammo at an inopportune time and it would be risky to run to an ammo box, or if you see an opportunity to take out an entire swarm of enemies with a handful of grenades, don't be afraid to use a Clip Pack (after emptying your grenades ofc).

However if you max out all your other consumables then you will get 3 MG twice in Vet packs. I've not bought a JEP since but I was getting 5 Mg, 5 OP and 2 MG when TC and CM were maxed out.
