Every time I try to do a multiplayer game I will get that pop up in the middle of the game and it will kick me out. Can anyone tell me how to make this stop happening?

It happens to the best of us but the type of connection you have helps to reduce the likelyhood of you being kicked. You need i type 2 NAT connection for the best results in multi and some modems are better then others. I will also add that being the host yourself improves your odds but if your connection is bad the odds are your team mates will be kicked rather then you in most cases.

I don't have connection issues with anything but  this. I'm pretty positive it's not my connection.

Yes, number one disconnect reason is NAT UDP session being dropped by your router due to a bug in router software (more common then you think). That will result in "Your connection to the game has been lost" message.

The message OP is getting however may indeed be caused by a bug in the game. I have never seen this happen during game, but I do get it in game menu and in shop from time to time. It looks like ea server needs to receive something every 15 seconds from the game, if it doesn't it will close the connection after 1 minute 35 seconds. For example if shop server is busy you will get stuck during purchasing, the game will stop sending data while you wait and the connection will be closed by server side (with no errors and NAT session still active, not a network problem!). Same happens if you let the game alone for few hours while in private lobby or menu. Maybe something can trigger it during game also. In any case why the **** doesn't the game try to reconnect? Why?

I have gotten this message at least ten, twenty times this evening despite no other connection problems. I was furious when it dropped me with 0:01 left in a match.

It's happened to me 4 or 5 times in the last few hours. Just got DISC'ed from a completed Gold match with less than 10 seconds left. Been playing for months with hardly any problems, but the last week or so has been getting worse and worse. Tonight takes that cake though...

I just got disconnected, after hard and exhausting battle, wave 10. I barely managed to kill all targets and was trying to finish the rest. Used up my medi- gel ( I'm unlucky and I get it rarely in PSP). I lost all my credits, all experience and this is really not fun. And I was a host, I think the rest of my team had to replay that wave. I doubt they managed to do that without me. I just don't understand why no one is doing anything with that. Really, if those servers are so weak then do something about it and just let us get those credits and experience. I have to work hard for every PSP, replaying whole matches several times (I always get kicked because of lost connection to server on wave 10 and 11, that's just ridiculous). This isn't fun.

There are days when everything is ok, so I doubt it is my fault.
BioWare, please do something about it. Earning those credits instead of losing them would be enough...

The thing is, this is the only game I have this problem with. I can play me3 multiplayer on xbox just fine. Only pc gives me this problem.

There is something diabolical about the way Mass Effect works.  Generally I'm OK, but I have more disconnections on this than ANY other game I've ever played.

I had finally got back on this game, playing MP without any connection issues after about a month of MP basically unplayable. After the Origin update and ME3 update on Friday, I'm back to being kicked off every 3 mins. This is f****n ludicrous. I am sorry but I REFUSE to accept that this is MY connection. I play several other MMOG and ME3 is the ONLY one with these connection problems. And EA/BW are not interested in the slightest, providing there are some ppl that can connect who cares about the ones who have been with the series for the past SEVEN years before MP was even thought about.

Well I'm sorry but enough is enough. Even when you can get on, the game has become very boring and tedious. There are many more titles out there which don't require that you face West, walk round your chair 8 times, Kiss your mouse before you can play them successfully.

C Ya EA/BW

That's a good question, i've not been able to play AT ALL since todays update (or 2 updates not sure).

Been trying everything to get ME3 going again. this morning all was fine, later today i wanted to do some more MP and nothing, ME3 doesn't even start.

I have this same freakin' problem. Multiplayer was working fine, and then I started having problems with disconnecting while buying packs. Then I was disconnecting in the middle of matches. It is really pissing me off. My brother is using the same network and he's fine. Wondering if it's because I'm using Bootcamp on Mac?...

I haven't played the game for a couple of weeks but i have never experienced this issue before until today. Did they release any updates recently? I just got disconnected twice. The first time by joining a game and the second time by hosting one.

I thought it was just me, thankfully not. I haven't heard anything, but I recently kicked out less then five minutes ago. Now, it seems the actual EA/Bioware server is down. At least, it was when I looked five minutes ago.

I've had the ME3 multiplayer disconnects the past 4 days or so. I read somewhere that I had to forward the port 3659 on my router to my own pc. According to router setup, it's now doing that sucessfully, and I still get kicked off multiplayer, somewhere between wave 7 and 9.

Now, to summarize, I'm running windows 7 on an aging rig old
3,2 Ghz dualcore, with 4 gb of ram and a radeon 3970. - Though old, it runs most games I can throw at it, and it runs ME3 perfectly, when it isn't disconnecting.
My connection is 30/30 mbps, which by the way never drops packages and never disconnects.

I've looked at every setting I can think off, and it still keeps kicking me off.

Since I got ME3 for the multi player part, I am not pleased.

You'd think with all that money, EA could make their crap work. Here's hoping that the sale rumors are true. Maybe somebody with competence and integrity will gobble them up. The current management clearly possess none of those traits.

I've been having this issue off and on since the last Multiplayer weekend started on Friday, some say there was an update to the origin servers and since they have been full of fail. I got disconnected from teh "EA server" in the middle of a gold and then later a silver run right on the last or second to last wave so I got no credits or xp for all my work....Not pleased with the servers lately, might stop playing the game for a few weeks to see if they fix these issues in the meantime.

I'm in the same boat. I just came back to ME3 to find this. I guess I'm taking another long break from the game.

Today worse than ever, the ME3 multiplayer is a constant disconnect and loss of all points, credits and experience....

Please fix this issue soon or end up loosing players that have no desire to REALLY waste their free time.

On top of me never being able to host a game (any time another player joins my game I disconnect a wave or two later) the last few days have seen the store itself hilariously broken on my end.
Decided to try my luck with Bioware points and purchased A PSP,,disconnected before I could see the contents of the pack. Then couldn't get back into multiplayer for a good 40 mins and when I did,low and behold the contents instantly showed up.Phew.

Then bought 4 normal Spectre packs, and while the store took my points,it wouldnt show contents of said packs, until again,I disconnected.

Finally got back in this morning and tried to use the remaining points in the hope that the previous packs would miraculously appear and got frozen on the "Please Wait.." pop up.After 20 minutes of that I rebooted the game to find my multiplayer reset to zero and all equipment and characters gone.Knew of this bug from others so after a short panic attack,I rebooted again.

Got back in and headed for the store to see if the points had returned due to a bug/error and it immediately froze me out again. Now I cant even connect to the EA servers.
I mean what the ****ing ****,this is getting beyond a joke now.

On a side note,EA/Origin Live support is absolutely no help with the disconnect issue. The tired old 'make sure your router settings are thus..' "make sure firewall anti virus is off..' "only have ME3/Origin running.."I know all this,I've known from day one but it still gives me this ****ty issue daily.

Still crashes. Oddly enough, I keep finding plenty of people online. Hopefully this gets noticed, eventually. Being the topic at the top and being popular, I'm surprised this hasn't been stumbled upon. Unless of course it was, and at the moment Bioware is..looking for the problem.Though if they are aware, a sign would be nice. Could be a.."Oh hey, yeah we heard." You know, don't need to make a topic about it. Just a nice little..post. I mean, I think I speak for everyone when I say we at least want this to be seen. Not trying to be mean, just asking for a signal.
