I live in the Bay Area, California. So far, so good. Played a couple matches and no disconnects. I think it is a regional thing.

Not sure how DNS works on XBox, but slowing CAN be worsened with slow DNS. I don't believe this is the case because of the overwhelming evidence that even someone with a local lookup has issues, but it makes me wonder about something to ask BioWare: BioWare, do you host your own DNS servers? Have you tuned those?

Well I see I'm not the only one with this issue. Add me to the list as well. All I want to do is have fun but the disconnects and the horrible loads are making this game unplayable to me.

Same thing, when I had my Xbox version (up till a few days ago) it worked fine, the PC game disconnects randomly all the time.  My connection is fine as my other games work fine.

Needless to say - i have most of the issues previously described. All started with operation Alloy weekend challenge. No issues before, no connection settings chagnged - so it has to be something with the servers.

No problems with other MP online games. Just ME3 :(

I actually managed to get through one match today, then I got dropped after wave 2 of the second match. Then I keep getting dropped within the first 5 or so minutes. My problems started right around the last origin update, so what is that, like 3 weeks now? I've been playing MP since the demo and, frankly, this upsets me. I've been playing Bioware games since Baldur's Gate and I've gotten every single one of their releases since then (except Jade Empire and the Sonic the Hedgehog one, we'll forget that happened) and this is the FIRST time I've actually been disappointed (I'm one of the weirdos that actually liked the original ending and fanboyed out with the EC). Granted, it is EA's servers, so Bioware can't take ALL the heat...

Well, I am starting to get very unhappy. I would like to believe this isn't bioware's fault (being a huge bioware fan), but im starting to get pissed. Oh well, going to go back and play all 3 Mass Effect games again. When I'm done I will try multiplayer. Damn you EA/Bioware.

I'll be contacting some of the more popular gaming blogs to see if they're interested in running a story. Kotaku in particular - they seem very fond of Mass Effect info, because it brings in a lot of viewers. Perhaps someone whose voice has an actual effect on sales speaking up will persuade BioWare to be a real company and respond to consumer concerns.

This has been an infrequent problem for me until the last few days.

Not only do I get disconnected every third match, but clearly many, many other people are having trouble. The last match I played yesterday, I was the only one left in the match by round 9. Come to think of it, not a match goes by that somebody doesn't "leave." I don't think there are that many quitters out there...

I haven't played ME3 in a month or so. Logged in yesterday to play some multiplayer, and am getting the "Load Failed. Cannot Connect To Server" message. Unplayable. My connection is great (no problems with Steam or any other service), so ...

You're right. This has happened to me every day since Operation Alloy, and I also often find people "leaving" games for no good reason.

I'm with you on this one. I can't even connect to the MP. It's really annoying and just sucks. I have, quiet literally, done everything that EA Tech support has told me to do to try and fix the problem. It finally came down to the tech saying that I just might have to wait for the next patch. :/

Which really sucks, since the game can't verify my DLC. So now I'm stuck unable to play my saves since all of my saves include the DLC, and I refuse to start a new game since I've gotten as far as I am (granted I haven't beat the game yet, but still.)....

Same problem. Bought Mass Effect 3 three days ago after storming through ME1+2. Total convert, loved the games! Imagine my upset when I can't complete the single player to the level I would choose (one of the key features of ME as far as I'm concerned) because I have to play multiplayer. No biggie, it's quite a fun mode. Unless you are dropped from 80 per cent of games and hence unable to improve your galactic readiness. So due to a serious bug, I am unable to enjoy the game.

OS: Win 7 (64-bit)
Location: UK
ISP: Virgin

Please Bioware, help me enjoy ME3 to its full!

I wish the help desk were required to review this forum. I've actually spoken to several help desk people who are not even aware there is a network problem. They all just say feel free to post here...which is meaningless if nobody responds. Placebo forums designed as an emotional outlet rather than real help. It would make such an amazing difference if we just knew someone with the power to do something about network issues was even listening.

I've lost connection no less than 10 times today alone. Twice at the end of a mission with less than 30 seconds left on the clock. mostly in the MP store and once just before finishing a new character in MP, I've checked my connection and reset my router twice with no effect. the issue is obviously at the EA end of things.

They haven't even bothered to fix this several month old store bug http://social.biowar...dex/10047618/55

What makes you think that they will fix this? This company is a joke. This is why EA won't be getting any of my money in the future. The support for your games is non existent. All these ****s focus on is DLC after DLC.

**** You!

Disheartened, It is true...Ea has our money. Why should they help us? This company runs on ruining Developers, and selling broken games. They only act like they care up to the point that you buy the game. Then they just don't give a !@#$ about the customer.Bioware may want to help, but probably have orders to ignore it.Once more EA you have proven your evil.

I believe this is just another side effect of corrupted network data during network failure. Keep in mind the failure is usually caused by software, not the network. UDP. Well, duh.
