As others have said this problem has been around from the very beginning without a single comment from anyone so I wouldn't expect a rapid fix now either. I added this problem to my thread (where I actually try to filter the BS out) and will update it if anything new comes up.

People need to realize that if you can connect even momentarily, firewall and many basic steps are already working. Disconnects may certainly involve a bad network, but the problem is so rampantly out of control on this game that BW badly needs to comment on this or explain.

I've tested this too. Created a private match just for me and I still get the disconnected issue.

1. Totally uninstall ME3 and Origin. (**Before doing this backup your ME3 folder in Docs\\Bioware. Some ppl have said their save games have been lost).
2. Delete ALL Origin and EA folders inside AppData and ProgramData (I only play ME3 no other EA games so I know that I can do this without affecting anything. If you have other EA games installed beware of deleting the contents without checking/backing them up).
3. Reinstall ME3, it will auto-update Origin but it isn't this that seems to be the issue.
4. Try playing the game now as it is WITHOUT any DLC's. Hopefully, you will be able to play and have no disconnects. If you still have problems then this preocess is unlikely to work for you.
5. Now, try putting each DLC back on individually, trying the game. When you start getting problems that will be the DLC causing them. In my case, I can put N7 CE stuff, Rebellion & Resurgence on. As soon as Earth goes on it starts with the disconnects again. Why, IDK but that is working for me. .
I'd previously tried all the usual ports, firewall settings etc etc This is only way I've managed to sort on mine. It's not ideal as I said, no N7's and fewer maps but at least I can play. Wasn't able to play for about 4 weeks at one point and EA are not able to help. Not bothered with EC coz that only affects SP as far as I know but it stopped working after that as well.

Because you thought better hosting rather than joining. But you still get the same problems as when you join someone else's game I bet? Tried this myself because I was fiddling around outside the game altering settings and I couldn't stay in longer than 2 to 3 waves at most though, as happened when I joined matches. After doing above workaround, I can stay in a game on my own as long as I can do objectives and stay alive on my own lol.

Yes, I had that happen to me as well. Everything should be back to normal if you exit the game, log out and exit of origin completely, and start everything back up again. I freaked out as well but found the answer on an old forum post.

This seems to happen in parts to a lot of people. I've had characters reset just in terms of their powers, colors, etc...all personalizations have been wiped several times just from disconnects while in the shop. I've seen quite a few others who have had credits wiped on disconnect, or character levels, even their inventory of all weapons. I'm not surprised to see this, but I do wonder if it could be saved by reinstalling the DLC for those characters...also I happen to wonder if the cloud feature is related to this wipe, perhaps it is restoring the wrong copy. Do you have the cloud feature normally checked in the origin options? Oh, be sure to call EA help to try and get it all back, though they may not believe you...they seem to think the game works and people are just telling them stories.

Thanks for your replies. The cloud feature was on and restarting the game did the trick. Really freaked out for a sec, especially considering this week's operation!

I don't know how but I got DC when I was alone on my private host.
In the last 2 days only get DC at the shop.Fortunately my packs didn't dissapeared.
