At first there will be more connections, but as soon as you play a game for a while these are the connections that are left. Ignore the loopbacks you see:
- 1 Orgin connection 107.21.236.239
- 1 Origin website connection 107.22.237.84
- 1 Mass Effect 3 connection 92.52.77.245
Now I monitored these 3 connections while I was playing a multiplayer round.
Now this image shows that the ME3 connection is greyed out. Right at the point the error occured ingame.

This got me wondering, would it stay the same IP address. So I entered a new game. Guess what after a few waves.

You can even see the old connection to the same address from the previous game (if you look at the remote port, you will see it is from the previous game).
While playing this round, I had a ping running on this address:

So the ME3 game connection to 92.52.77.245 is lost, but not the ping.
Clearly this is a bug in the programming of ME3, maybe introduced by a patch or DLC.

god that was just a pain tried again to play a match got to wave 11 2 seconds to end the game and epic win with 4-5 medals then Crash! disconnected. for the love of god :X

That is a stupid policy. It just makes you look like the stoic, stony corporation that won't interact with your audience/market on a personal level.

Every time I disconnect, I throw up my arms, do the noodle arms, and go "Wroolooloolooloolooo!"
Then I ALT-F4 the game and have a beer!
(In case you couldn't tell, you're not supposed to make me want to get drunk.)

This is what an afternoon of gaming in Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer looks like.
Tell me, Bioware: Is this what you intended?
Through all of this, I should have accumulated enough experience points to cap out at least two characters at level 20, gotten enough credits to buy two top-end Premium Spectre packs, and god knows what else. But I didn't. Because of this bull****.
Again: WAS THIS YOUR INTENTION, BIOWARE? Did you REALLY intend to frustrate your gamers on purpose? Because it sure feels like it!

So, I decided to stay up until somwhere around 3 a.m. for I hoped that by this point at least most people must be either asleep or too tired to keep playing ME3 multiplayer. AND I WAS RIGHT
I actually got in! So I just quickly promoted all six classes, although there was no operation screen popping up, but I hope it got through.
Since I myself the was too tired to play, I just exited straight back out. Out of curiosity and to ensure my theory was correct and I did not just get lucky, I tried to go into multiplayer again. Worked again. Third time also, no problems.
I am thinking EA is already reducing the server capacity since the number of players outside of operations is shrinking. This then has the side effect of causing an overload at op weekends, or maybe they just didn't expect how many players were gonna return to ME3 for another op weekend.
Either way, I cannot make a statement about the disconnection problem yet. Will do once i start leveling after a good dose of sleep. So far I rarely disconnected, but the game just seemed to simply crash a lot lately for whatever reason. I don't know what I fear more ;_;

Same here, and I was planning on spend my BW Points buying some PSP's and VP's. I did, and received 3 or 2 due to losing connection/game crashing all the time...
PLEASE Bioware/EA, fix whatever the problem is so we can enjoy the game again.

EDIT: A closer perusal of the connection via ProcessExplorer reveals SYN is sent to 92.52.77.245. But the sever usually doesn't reply with an ACK, hence the connection times out. I can connect to EA servers *maybe* one time in ten, if I'm lucky.
