And, if you manage to get far enough in to the store to use Bioware points,the packs you bought don't appear until you log in and out a few times.(If you're lucky)

Having the same problem. Haven't played since a couple of weeks after the endign came out, and when I tried to get on this weekend, I'm stuck on the multiplayer loading screen before being dumped out and told the connection to the EA servers has been lost. I've tried rebooting, rebooting the modem, and still no luck.

Can we please get a fix, Bioware?

well someone made a mistake somewhere....they should admit it and fix it... or dont admit it and fix it........just when i was in the mood to play this bug appears..:(( i tryed almost everything i found on the net to fix it from my end no luck at all......if i am lucky enough i might finish 1 match...then dc....maybe the problem is with the operation itself...after it ends maybe the bug may vanish ?

I think its something to do with load on the authorisation servers. I was playing the morning around 10am GMT for a few hours and had a flawless experience not one single drop, going in and out of the store was really quick. I then had another bash 6 hours later and was getting frequent "you have been DC'd..."

Hey Everyone, not sure how much use this will be but after 2 weeks of being kicked off anywhere between waves 1 and 10 it finally started working for me, and I think I may know why.

When Origin last updated, it added the option to save your games in the cloud. When given the option I enabled it and accidentally click overwrite my local saves with the ones in the cloud (which was nothing).

Tonight, I started up Origin, clicked on the Information button for ME3 and disabled the Cloud Storage option. I then clicked on the Restore Saves button, which told my that my last save was on the 12th of August (about the time I ran into the connection issues)

I than started up ME3 again and was able to play and complete 10 games, promoted 2 characters and bought 3 spectre packs.

Might be worth giving it a shot for those who were really starting to get annoyed with this whole thing (I know I was).

hi guys it's my first post and I'm sorry it's about such a thing but i got from my work at 6am local polish time and i sat to me 3 to complete the challenge. I'm playing my infiltrator using my sniper rifle and hitting sh* because of the lag ?t  about wave 10 i got a disconnect error....so OK let's try again, then wave 2 and again with the disconnect error, that's like 9  or 10 times in a row and now i can't even get to play because of the unavailable to connect to ea server so my question is wtf.... bioware and ea you made a great game  (ending excluded) so please take some time and fix the multiplayer

Same issues here. Myself and my friends had been playing three weeks straight of the MP and there was never a disconnect, just simply flawless and fun. However, since last week none of us can stay in a game without at least one disconnect.

Things tried that did not help:

1. Everyone on same version of Origin
2. No other programs running, especially stuff like Steam
3. UPnP off/on in router - neither worked
4. Ports Forwarded
5. Ports not Forwarded (ironically able to play with each other anyhow, but still disconnects)
6. Each of us playing in separate games with random players resulted in all of us disconnecting at some point or another.
7. Overlay off/on. No help.

For things to run without ANY issues for three weeks solid then suddenly disconnects from last week, for four players: something is surely wrong with the EA servers. To offer the weekend mission even after everyone complaining about the connection errors for a week is just plain silly.

I'm honestly half hoping this mission will fail, maybe then they will take notice of the connection problems.

We will try the cloud save thing, I'll get back on this.

This is exactly what's been happening to me, from last week. Glad I am not alone. I think I completed just ONE match this week. ONE PEOPLE! Well, didn't really try too hard cause well..I'm not very patient. But still...hope they'll fix it soon.

After having the same problems since 2 weeks now, I contact the german EA support.
After analysing the ping to their servers they came to the idea it must be my ISP blocking their servers and it's my job to clarify it with my ISP.

For me there are only two possible issues for this.
1. Their servers are blocking the users because of to much traffic or instabilities.
2. My ISP is realy blocking their servers but this is ea's job to clarify why any ISP is forced to block their servers. What the hell are they doing?

I play serveral games (TF2, Titanquest, Left4Dead, Call of Duty, CSS, Brink, Rage) online without problems. Only ME3 kicks me ...

After giving the ea support the hint of this they just send again the same mail I should contact my ISP. It's sad an boring and I think I will switch complete to steam again and kick the whole origin crap.

The issue is definitely not on our end. I have a grade A optical fiber connection with a 50 mbps subscription, yet I am being disconnected every 2nd mission, even when I am a host. I think either EA/Bioware servers can't handle the load, or they're just don't work properly. And, judging by the continuous state of the servers, the stuff which is supposed to maintain them looks to be more concerned with their weekend than with doing their job.
And I also have a theory, that the servers are supposed to behave such as that in order to simulate the interference from the Reapers, disrupting our connections. Somebody just forgot to change the message "You were disconnected from the server" for "The Reaper interference disrupted your connection to the server". In this case all the stuff are doing their jobs just great. And this would definitely add some sinister feeling in all of this, just like the game is supposed to be felt, IMHO.
I just promoted 2 characters in a time span from yesterday to this morning (GMT+4), then took a break, and then tried again just now. The situation is the same. Playing like this is hell, and, with the absence of official announcement about the Reaper interference, and all of this being just a game, I think this is too much. I'm going to play Skyrim now. Farewell, Mass Effect! And, if someone will say about the upcoming DLC, I say "Too late! The maintenance of the game servers isn't good enough for my liking."

Funny thing: After loading endless I got the connection failure message again. But in the background was the operation describtion visable...............................................................................................................

Got a reply from EA Help after submitting traceroutes and host polling tests:

I appreciate your prompt reply with the UO Trace files. I've reviewed the file and found no issue with the Internet connection.

It looks like the issue is more complex than what it initially seemed and more time is required for investigation. I am escalating issue to the higher tier. We apologize for any prolonged delays this might cause but please be assured that we are trying to handle your issue in a timely manner.

Server error is my guess as well.
