I'm a lvl 7 human male vanguard today and the random random bronze turns otu it wants to put me in GGFBW ...wtf I cleared all foes but 1 prime and all I wanted to do was kill it maybe and get EXP I didn't even wanna join a GOLD game and I'm gettign a rant about credits and wasting their time

you know whats a waste of my time? and yours yelling into my mic saying obsanities when you can just say nicly... can you kill it quickly?

I responded with

"I'm ****ing sorry but first I didn't realise I was outa rockets I'm lvl 7 vanguard that was jolted into a gold game against my will due to the randomizer and I'm ****ing sorry but you don't have to ****ing insult me and yell ino the mic to get your "point across"

I know I seem at wrong but do I have to stand to ppl blithering bigot minded to be NICE? ask nicely I mean I also was capable to kill the prime with a tempest and eagle 3 fairly long time but able to push it to wave 10 cause I'm not a idiot when it comes to long term fire fights and counting primes shot times I could have made it but instead I just gave in and killed myself and everybody left me like I'm the fault of everything ...sheesh just wanted the EXP to re level myself after my friend promoted my chars behind my back as a joke killed my mood to play period anyways nothingbeen right today period

I think the worst comment that has been directed at me on the PC is "I Hate you!" when they saw my Valiant IV. The worst general comment was "ugh, why are you f*****ts not trying to res me?!" This after he went down his tenth time by wave 5 on silver after charging head long into an enemy spawn. I nearly responded "Well, we have to carry you moronic arse though this and you just being alive is actually detrimental to the teams success." The Salarian infiltrator and I (Salarian Engineer) pretty much duoed the last 5 waves.

i don't talk to people i don't know on xboxlive very often i'll listen for a few minutes to see if they are ok or not. if they are jerks i just mute them. But i'd be pretty upset too if you kept killing geth i used sabotage on. I quit using sabotage though because of those people

The meanest thing I've heard is "Don't host if you have bad connection." And that's not even really mean, it's true.

I hate using my mic. People are racists. From the sound of my voice they assume I can't afford Xbox , Xbox live or a tv. They assume I'm playing on cardboard tv an what not. Really annoys. What I hate the most is I never use my mic, BUT, my negative feed back on my Xbox live profile is about me talking trash? WTF is that all about.

Xbox, I have once and the guy was really, really foul....not with me but two other randoms in the game, it was way over the top, reported him and left the game....think we were about half way through.

I would just stand in the middle of the stage and go afk. If he gets so mad about me killing things he can have them all.

And yet it's this game that has made me come closest to getting a mic, due to the good times I've had with randoms who call targets, make me laugh and talk in the lobby; I go on text chat with them and join in.

Yeah, I've met ****s 3 or 4 times now, but the majority of people on mic are inoffensive. I'd like it if they called targets more tbh, it's annoying getting blindsided or seeing a team-mate get ambushed when the guy following you around has a mic but stays silent.

Not a good reason not to use your mic. Just don't talk to ****s. Leave and find rooms with friendly people.

On PC it's so annoying talking to myself. I wish more people would use their mics.

IMHO, sabotaged targets need to be taken out. The target won't retaliate and is easier to hit at that time. On a few occasions, I'd hack a turret and let it loose, then waited too long and had it gun me down afterwards. D'oh!!! Lesson learned!

I don't think the person you described can really be called that. Mentally, at least...

So what I'm getting at, is. There is usually absolutely no point for me to use my mic and try and play tactically with anyone (besides friends) in this community, because all it results in are petty insults. If I wanted to argue with grown men I'd be playing CoD or some other FPS right now. /rantrant

I'm almost disappointed that this hasn't ever happened in all the hundreds of games I've played on Xbox. The "worst" I've had was some guy singing loudly and horribly off key the whole match, and another guy who was bragging during a bronze game about his score. "Scoreboard!" he said after wave 5. It was amusing, 'cause I said, "On Bronze, really?" And he got butthurt and said "shutup." After that, no more cries of "Scoreboard."

If your not immediately killing whatever you just sabotaged then you're doing it wrong (with the ecxeption of the occasional turret, prime, and atlas, and even then you don't just keep hacking it te entire wave). What a n00b ****hole.

I play on PC, and I never hear any insults or harassment over the mic. Also occasionally do play with women using a mic, and no one harasses them either.

I'm on the PC and have never had an issue.  Mostly (unless playing with friends) no one says anything at all.

And to OP, yeah, playing with friends. I try to never play with randoms. They mean.
