Hm, hopefully this is an appropriate forum. :innocent:

So I was just making a new character in Origins, and the thought hit me: What hairstyles do other people normally use? Unfortountly I have an xbox copy of Origins, since my desktop is far from a gaming computer... which really sucks, since I've seen some pretty nice custom content for hair - and even if I was to play with "vanilla hair," I really wouldn't mind using Morrigan's hairstyle (which, imo is the best one in the game... and it really ticks me off that you're unable to use it in DA: O and DA2 despite other characters, such as Velanna and other NPCs, have it )

Anyways! What hair do you guys normally use?

Most of my characters are female, so I tend to use similar styles, though I normally use the short haircut with all of the mini ponytails (Shianni and Merrill's hair, basically), the twin buns (Anora, Eleanor Cousland), the pulled up bun (Isolde), and the ponytail (Nessa, Leliana in her DLC). I've also used Iona/Nesiara's hair (down with the small, twin ponytails in the front; simple and elaborate form) now and then too.
For males, I tend to stick to Tamlen/Finn, Alistair, and Zevran's hair.

I like that one <- haha.
Surprisingly I didn't see it on many NPCs.

Ahaha yeah, the only ones to come to mind would be Lily and Valora. XD
I kind of liked how, depending on the color of the hair used, the little barrett on the back changes color, too.

I pretty much exclusively use hairstyles that come from mods, which I liked more than the defalt ones. That's one of the greatest reasons to have this game on PC, imo. :) My warrior (on my avatar to the left) used that incredbily impractical hairstyle from the more hairstyles mod (dragonage.nexusmods.com/mods/392) which I found pretty, and more importantly, I found it really funny to run around carving up darkspawn with such an impractical hairstyle.

Ahaha, yeah... Sims3 makes my computer crash, so I doubt Origins or DA2 would work well with it XD
Though part of me wonders that, if the Warden uses a modded hairstyle in Origins, what would happen down the line, if they figure out a good way to important the Warden into DA3/any other game and the Warden doesn't have a hat of some kind on, what they would look like O:

I assume if they let you import the warden into any future game (unlikely I think......but who knows) they'll let you choose your warden's looks again.

Either that or you'll end up with a default look or....bald.

Origins doesn't actually have a very high PC requirement, you could check it up actually.

I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to hair. My Wardens simply MUST have long hair. Unless they're guys. So I, personally, am happy for all the wonderful hair mods. Especially Beautiful People Hair REN by glee. As impractical as they may look. However, if I didn't have an option, I would go with the hairstyle Isabela in the Pearl has. It's very nice. Leliana and Morrigan both have pretty hair, too. Are you sure you can't choose Morrigan's? Maybe it's because I've added a few mods, but I think I've seen it among the available hairstyles. Or maybe it was only something similar. Both Dagna and Shianni have cute hair, too.
Well, there are more but I can't remember what NPCs have them. :pinched:

As for males, I like Alistair's hairstyle the most. I think my next male Warden is going to get that one. Duncan has a good one, too.

Cerah, my computer is also no wonder but both DA:O and DA2 run quite fine, despite all the hair mods I have. The mods don't seem to change the performance much. At least I didn't notice.

For my dwarves, I like the hair in my avatar pic. The beard style is the only one that I can avoid the beard glitch with.

For humans, I usually go with shorter hair, typically the combed back looking one. I might go with Alistair's hair, but I don't want twins in my squad.

At least in DA2, they have Duncan's hair available in the presets, though that's a different game. Hopefully DA3 will have Oghren/Bartrand's beard in the presets, if not playable dwarves as well.

For those playing on the PC, there's a newish hairstyle mod here:

http://dragonage.nex...s.com/mods/3552

There are some fairly pretty hairstyles in it for all races and both sexes.:) The mod's being updated quite regularily atm.

Same here, I prefer to have my female wardens with long hair, although I might make a short haired city elf rogue...it sorta fits the image I have with city elves.
