For me I'd take the Harrier over the Hurricane any day because I prefer mid-range combat. Consistent headshots with the Harrier is pure win because enemies won't even get close enough to do damage.

Thought that the Harrier and Saber could not be beaten... but it all comes down to skill and preference... I get headshots long range with my new hurricane with no problems and can keep my powers at a really high recharge... They all have their pro's and con's but wow with these 3 guns... every class can be a mix of powers and guns... A Destroyer with a Harrier and a Hurricane... Makes me forget that cruddy Typhoon all together... Now that I think about it... Why did I even like that heavy slow shooting thing...
Oh thats right hype... lol
But on a real note now I got a reason to play this game for just a bit longer... Unless EA keeps giving us dump truck servers...

Just gave it a run just now on some solo silver game vs Cerberus. Now that I have the stability mod I like it a lot more than before. But I still like the Harrier more because I can drop enemies faster and more reliably at range and don't have to close in as much to operate at peak weapon efficiency.
For what it's worth, I only have a Harrier I and Hurricane III

try it on a destroyer with a harrier... best of both worlds... and you never worry about ammo again...
also try it on a caster class that doesnt rely on its weapons gives you a nice mix of weapon to power strategy...

the harrier as along with every weapon and class has it drawbacks... harrier small clip huge damage... hurricane small clip sh*t accuracy at distance to mess someone up in close range... I personally burst fire it to pop heads across map...
but Imp sounds like me you found a perfect use for it... to cover up where the Saber lacks... close range...

i've been using the hurricane with my turian soldier lately. it's devasting when using the marksman ability. plus, turians have weapon stability bonuses, so with that and using the stability dampener AND marksman combined it practically shoots in a straight line.

I've got the Hurricane 4 and Harrier 2, have to say, I love them both. I use the Hurricane on all my caster classes because it doesn't give too much of a cooldown hit, and can still deal decent enough damage at close range while my powers recharge.
They are really designed for different things, and before the SMG stab mod was introduced, I didn't even look at the Hurricane.
