... or you know, I'd like to be able to romance a male that actually likes my character in the next game, as opposed to basically using her for protection while trying to convince himself that he's in love with her while actually checking himself out emotionally after they have sex.
... just saying. And something with the length and depth of the DA:O romances would be nice.

Personally, I'd like to see some non-companion romances, honestly. Just because a character doesn't follow you in battle doesn't mean that you can't have a relationship with them.
This is a very interesting Idea, I know I found Anora more agreeable than some of the other LI even tho she never fought with my warden.

Really? You don't want romances? Then why do you even play RPGs?Skelter192 wrote...
I don't want there to be any romances.
I love RPGs and I don't care about romances at all. I'll follow through with a romance if it unlocks some special abilties or access to more powerful weapons/armor, but other than that, they are the least intersting part of any RPG I've played.

And maybe a new character? But no one like Anders. I've had enough of possessed mages.

^ This. And I know it's probably not realistic (he could be dead), but I'd also say Nathaniel Howe.
That whole "you didn't play Awakening, so Nathaniel Howe is dead" thing never did make sense to me, but whatevs.

Agreed 100%.
Even if you didn't romance them in the previous game, it still would be a terrible idea. New romances, please. Don't mess up the old ones.
