I had nearly all of the specs in the game unlocked (all but reaver), but once I installed Awakening, I found that, for some reason, nearly all of the specialzations I had unlocked in my Origins games became locked. And they only unlock if I do it on that playthrough.
Is there a work around with this on the xbox 360? I don't recall every reading that getting Awakening would do this to my game. :/
