If they do this, I hope it's better than the mansion in DA2, but I really dont' want one at all. I feel like resources could be spent elsewhere. IF this thing is real, it doesn't necessarily mean they will be doing something like that, only that they may be considering it.

Honestly though, I just want the return of my dear Arcane Warrior. It most likely won't happen seeing as how Bioware wants all of the classes to feel more distinct, but a guy can wish.

I find it funny that in the concept art posted on page two the guy is this badass warrior but the woman looks like a
secretary. Some things will never change, it seems.

I sort of want this leak to be true because it does sound interesting. Hopefully since our character would have a title/job, rather than a last name, it means we'll be able to play as races other than human. I also rather like the idea of playing as an Inquisitor. It sounds cool. Much better than Seeker, which sounds like a character from a childrens novel. I'm not sure on those companion names though. Dorian is rather bland, I can't hear Sera without thinking of Final Fantasy, Cole just makes me think of inFamous and Iron Bull sounds like a character fron Jade Empire.

Including bi sort of makes it sound like there may be multiple partners. Unless it just refers to romances with bi characters like Zevran and Isabella.

No, it doesn't sort of make it sound like that at all.  That's a bit ridiculous, given the phrasing of the quote in question, the only way to say that including bi sounds like it suggests multiple partners is if YOU assume that that's what being bi means in the first place.

The bit about customizing your mansion or base or whatever it ends up as just seems rife with the potential for cheap microtransaction DLC. Hell, they'll probably have horses in DA3 only to release horse armor DLC.

The claim about the story being multiple novels long is a claim that most RPGs end up saying, because when you account for all the diverging dialogue trees, it is that long. But probably not in any one playthrough.

Well to be fair novels have to describe the setting too, take all the visual description out of a novel and.. it's not like you're stuck with 1000 pages of a Wheel of Time book.

Well, novels technically do have a specific average word count (or used to, before it became common to see thousand+ page novels as is the current growing trend), though the popular concept of "novel" is a lot more fluid than it used to be.  But I'd expect Gaider's own DA novels to be a fair yard stick to measure that statement by.  That said, it's an outlandish claim to make, given that four novels would include a lot more information through the vehicle of writing than I would imagine a game even of DA:O's length to be able to handle.  There's a reason why movies tend to be drastically different from books, and games would be no different.

No, what they were suggesting was giving each companion a different sexuality instead of making everyone bi which did sadden me a bit The other romance question was asking about how much depth should go into the romance IIrc, Oh and it's a Castle
