Edit: And i said already in another thread, the game title is probably going to be Dragon Age: Inquisition . Which actually sounds pretty cool, at least to me.

I voted for Dragon Age: The Breach.. sounds cooler for me

also I nearly had a heart attack about the fact that EA posted in my thread...

How did I not notice this thread before? I highly speculate my thread was closed as a cover up for a covert clean up.They took every companion descript down except dorian.

lol I voted for Dragon age: The inquisition :D

This is fake. Bioware have their own focus groups, they aren't going to just send this type out to some random survey site where it can be easily leaked. If this is real then Bioware is simply incompetent.

From what I saw in the survey sample posted the last thread you linked to, the protagonist is supposed to be a member of the Inquisition - the group the templars used to be before Emperor Drakon I organized them into the Order of Templars.

I don't see what's to like about being an atuomatic member of the proto-templar group. It seems like the kind of organization that would exclude mages as members when the aim of the original group was to hunt down mages.

Also, what makes you so certain this survey came from Bioware?

No, you have it all wrong, the synopsis said the Inquisition would rise from the ashes of the chantry's destruction, it's a brand new organization that just shares the name.I'm guessing either mage or warrior can be an inquisitior because it also stated there was a meeting to try and broker peace which would naturally include mages and templars.

The art that was displayed at pax and alot more was shown to the surveyor, that's how I know this was legit

That's called reasearch, it's an entirely different thing.

I know conspiracy theories can make one feel important, but you're reading *way* too much into this.  I was the one who locked that thread.  As a volunteer moderator, and not an employee of BioWare or EA, I have no clue as to when, or if, the next DA project is coming down the pipeline.

Frankly, in this day and age, I find it pretty bizarre that marketing research would include the real brand name of the product involved... especially with something as web and social-media centric as a AAA game franchise.  From what I could tell, the survey would have worked just as well without the name "Dragon Age" attached to it.

So in my mind, it does not pass the sniff test.

Two other points:  I'll note the thread was locked, not deleted or hidden.  Not very conspiratorial.  Also, since I don't believe you provided a URL for the original survey... it makes the whole claim hard to verify.

Or it could be seen as gathering a demographic from outside sources, now who does that? The female forums he visited weren't gaming forums and gaider has expressed time and time again that the demographic for DA extends beyond this forum's community

Why would it be so Bizzarre? The survey is given to random gamers who probably haven't even heard of dragon age, I know there were quite a few games and companies listed, I hadn't heard of.Is it so unthinkable that the company could be trying to get the opinion of a wider demographic?

Why would I provide a URL to the study and likely screw the company if it's legit? Also chris seemed cool with it but then you come out of no where, Abruptly close it, then pictures start getting deleted, forgive me if that doesn't look suspicious.

You wouldn't be able to open it anyway unless you're a member of toluna.com and received an invitation

ah well. I can understand why everyone's sceptical. Guess we'll have to look back at this thread some time in 2013.

Allow me to clarify.  I find it bizarre that market research would be conducted using a brand name if it was desired to keep that research entirely secret.  By implying some sort of conspiracy, you're implying that the researchers or those ostensibly affiliated with the researchers are going to great lengths (locking posts, deleting images from third-party websites) in order to silence you.

You can't have it both ways.  It makes no sense that they'd openly advertise the brand on something as uncontrollable as the internet and expect to keep a lid on it through punitive means.  That's nuts.

By the way, I am in no way saying you've fabricated this.  I am saying this survey may not be legit.

I've done the survey too.
I don't know if it's fake or not ...but i checked my mails and i just received some 40% coupon code for Origin purchase.
Is there a special offer going on?
Because except for this survey , I didn't do anything to have a coupon...

I don't need it both ways, maybe I'm not being clear with my Implications, I was implying a writer or Dev ordered that thread closed because like I said, All descriptions except one started getting Deleted right after it closed, as well as ( http://galaxynextdoo...aled-via-survey ) promoting the thread all within a 24 hr period, what conclusion would you draw from those events?

It wasn't 'Openly' advertised, it's compensated and invite only, you need a special code that the company automatically provides. What company pays you to take a fake survey with no hope of gain? It makes no sense, like I said before, it might not be a final product but it could very well be an early draft, who is to say?

Agreed. I have a really hard time believing they would do this, especially since the devs had said they didn't want to release info until they had something substantial to show with it (if that is the case, why would they place a survey on the internet where people can just randomly be privy to chunks of info and subsequently leak that information).

Agreed with both. It's common sense.

Could you provide some more information about the survey you said you did?

How long was it, what sort of questions were there, what sort of answers they were looking for, what sort of options you could pick, the length of the survey, the sort of images you claim you've seen. Details about the other content you and others have claimed was mentioned in the survey.

Because at the moment the entire volume of evidence is the forum posts of two people and three or four screenshots that anyone could mock up in half an hour.

Selective secrecy ("I saw so much awesome stuff, but I won't tell you anything about it because reasons") is hardly helping your case. Either the information is real - and you're obviously willing to break non-disclosure agreements and talk about it - or it's not, and you're inventing it.

I think whether it's fake or not is irrelevant. At this point, I'd rather talk about a false leak than blather constantly about a lack of information.

I've already explained all that in your twitter thread, I'm not repeating myself. As far as NDA's go, those are tricky because you can sign one unwillingly just by using a beta key as was the case with dragon age legend but if I was Under a NDA, my Issue would be with the Survey company, I am under no such obligation from bioware itself.

Anyways Concept Art
