Also, since noone took notice of it when I first posted it, shameless self-push:

I would very much like to see a war elves vs. humans. They never liked each other too much anyway. Perhaps there could be city elf riots, or dalish tribes attacking human villages... would make for an interesting tension between human and elf companions too.

i saw it. and i like that idea, but i wonder if that's more DA3, or DA4?

i've always wanted to see that happen. I support the Elves!!!!! :wizard:

And there is no chevalier, So sad.

And only one elf. I am glad - they are ugly.

Given the current state of Thedas, I don't think that elves have enough power even to rebell, not to mention wage a full-scale war against humanity. They did once (almost in the heyday of their glory) and they lost. That does not bode well for any further attempts.

I think I just mindf*cked myself, by the way:

What if the Cassandra-Varric-Scenes in DA2...
actually happen during the time covered in DA3?

It's said she wanted information about Hawke because she thought it might be the only way to 'stop the coming war'. Maybe that war is not mages vs. templars, but inquisition vs. fade or whatever happens in DA3? Maybe at that point, Cassandra is actually part of your troup and you can personally send her after Varric? Might make for a few awesome individual savegame-import-possibilities.

Nah, probably not gonna happen.. but totally would, if I had to decide.

Probably too many varuables to implement properly, but would be very impressive if they managed to pull that off.

Leliana would be a pretty possible companion as well. We see her at the end of DA2, and obviously she's part of the same organisation as Cassandra... and I think by now we can check Cassandra as confirmed.

Is that dusky fancy looking girl holding a crossbow? I'm calling it now: she is named Bianca.

Just imagine the outrage when people, who killed her in the first game, realise that she has not only survived and joined the chantry again in DAII, but is also going to be their companion in the third installment. That would be hilarious.

i think bioware is seriously regretting the ability to kill her in DA:O

i guess technically they want you to think you just "beat her up"

Absolutely, but this is where finishing moves might have interfered with that intent a bit. As it has been repeatedly stated on this forum - decapitation slightly undermines the plausibility of "just beating her up". :)

I'd hardly consider finishing moves "canon" even within our own choices.

I know, I know, but surely you can't deny that it does send a very clear, if unintended, message.

I'd imagine that Dragon Age 3 revolves around closing the breach in the veil and preventing this from occurring, not allowing it to take place.

The choice could exist, however. Many show mage sympathies on the forums and wouldn't mind a turn where the Circles rule the world instead of the monarchs. Though I'd try to stop it on my first character, no matter what.

Unrelated to the current thought processes but I'm glad the elf concept art has shoes, the whole no-shoe thing was weird.

Yes, you are right! I can't believe the writers got their way. This means little till we see an actual in-game model, however.
