I dont think that is the case because hype has a chance of backfiring on you, especially if the fans believe that certain things will be happening in the game that aren't. 

Biowares statement was that they want to show not tell and that they want feedback from the fans, They have not done any of those things yet and probably wont but if they were to do it, it would not be done in secret.

You are right, is ok if they have an inquisitor whos order is not part of the chantry, wich  believe in the Maker but not andraste and the Andrastians rules, I got that part now, What I want to know is if you are forced to play that.

Thats my problem, forced to play a inquisitor when I do not wish to play as one, and I dought this order do not belive in ANdraste when the Maker only spoke to her.. lol! see how everything is round and around, I think this Da3 is going to be as bad as me3, there is very little room left for me to stop thinking this way.

Anyway i do not care if an inquisitor is a companion I dought a mage will ever be inquisitor her/himself when there is a chance that this mage will go up in flames and doom Thedas.

Lets not not judge the game until it comes out.

They would NEVER make a game thats 100% anti mage nor would they make a game thats 100% Pro Templar.

And you will still be able to play as a mage. They would NEVER get rid of that....its too popular of a class.

My suggestion is to stop worrying and WAIT for official announcements.

That's... really dumb. Why would they want feedback and market research on things that aren't in the game? These surveys are not old you know.

How much concept art did we see from DA:2 that made it into the actual game?

I have no doubt some of it will make it into the game but I am simply not going to believe everything thats posted.

I see your point, but the only concept art in the survey was of companions (one for each). This applied to DA II also, and all those designs made it into the game.

Well, this thread certainly has the habit of escalating. I thought we were here to speculate about DA 3 and not to tear down each other's opinion on whether or not these spoilers are fake. If you ask me, it really doesn't matter. Fake or not, we've got something to discuss.

So, on that note: From the companion concepts we've seen and read (dark-skinned female, chevalier, Dalish elf, PC(?), Cullen (?), Cassandra(?), older Warden...etc.), who do you guys think might be romancable? (Not that I play Bioware games solely for the romance...oh wait, yes I am.)

For the other , hard to tell ....
They're not dwarves , so they all can be LI.

If he's the character Sheryl Chee is writing for, he's more like a grandfather figure, apparently. 

Oh also that's probably Stroud... French accent aside, he's a bit gruff and no-nonsense

If Cullen isn't a romance option, the fans will tear down Bioware's headquarters. I never had an interest in him personally.
if Cassandra isn't a romance option I might tear down Bioware's headquarters. (Although I haven't watched the movie and don't plan to)

And am I the only one who thinks they might bring back Varric? A lot of fans were disappointed because he wasn't a romance option in DA 2, so I'm kind of hoping we'll be able to get out dwarf-loving on this time.

Yay, crazy romance speculation time. For the male characters:

- If Cullen is really a companion then he's almost guaranteed to be romanceable. There is no way they would troll the Cullen fangirls this badly.
- I'm not too sure with Cole. It could work and I'm leaning towards yes, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they went with a "safer" choice over Cole.
- Dorian/trident mage guy is definitely possible, especially if Cullen is the other LI.
- Iron Bull or Stroud/old grey warden? Uh no, I seriously doubt it.

Agreed. Though I'd also like the option to play as an older PC for once.

I don't understand why people are so hell bent on pro-chantry pro-templar pro-mage pro-chuck norris thing, as the Warden in DAO you could HATE the Grey Wardens, yet you were still trying to stop the Blight and kill the Archdemon.

Just because we're playing as an Inquisitor, it doesn't mean we must be pro-chantry, nor that we will be given the option to be one or the other, I STRONGLY believe we'll simply be trying to end the ongoing conflicts by any means neccecary.

I thought the Arishok was hot...so I'm not against a qunari/kossith romance ...But yeah i'm not sure i could take someone called Iron Bull seriously.

Same with the warden and the chevalier , I really like the idea of an older LI , but then i remember things like the moustache on Strout or beard available for Hawke....they looked so fake .
I mean beard is great , fake looking beard not so much.
