Well the maybe 3 sentences that I got were far too undetailed for a real NDA though. I guess it was more like an empty threat, like "spreading information is bad mkay". Otherwise they would have contacted me way before they turned to the big gaming sites.. or, well, just locked the thread!
News spreads quick in the gaming sphere.
Keep that in mind, but I to be honest they may not do anything because its one case of a leak.

This is how we end up with decisions made only by the developers that the fans can ask 'why didn't they consult us before they screwed things up?'
In the end the company is not going to sue unless it was a massive breach, all that will happen is that they will not longer be as open to non employee suggestions and things will be kept locked up tight as can be with little outside consultation or feedback.

synopses providing overlapping details on the game’s storyline. “The
great nation of Orlais, the most powerful empire in Dragon Age, tears
itself apart in civil war,” says one.
“The stout men and women of Ferelden struggle to recover and reclaim
their nation from the horde of vile Darkspawn that lay waste to its
lands a decade ago. The Templar order has broken away, claiming the
church has become too lax in policing the dangerous powers of the mages.
The Mage circleshave rebelled, believing the Templars have become too
strict, too zealous in their duties, and too quick to slaughter those
who step out of line. “The world
of Dragon Age is one on the brink of collapse, and when a desperate
gathering in the name of peace becomes the epicentre of a magical blast
that decimates the Chantry's leadership, it becomes clear that someone
or something is manipulating events to drive the world into chaos.
“From the ashes of that explosion, something new rises: The
Inquisition. As the Inquisitor, it falls to you to build up your power
and martial your forces, uncover secrets and build connections across
the world. You must explore forgotten spaces, uncover ancient mysteries
and uproot those who would destroy the fabric of the world."
www.xbox360achievements.org/news/news-12590-Dragon-Age-3-Plot--Multiplayer-and-Concept-Art-Revealed-.html
From another article. One thing as far as timeline---The bolded says Fereldan trying to recover, etc. from the Darkspawn a decade ago. So, this makes me think that DA3 will pick up pretty close to where DA2 left off. No time lapse. DA2 took, technically, 10 years. The Blight was over within the first year of DA2.
Someone mentioned earlier that the whole interrogation of Varric by Cassandra might actually be...how do I say?..DA3--present tense. As in Cassandra is there at your DA3 PC wishes. I think that's interesting.
And i always love the idea of exploring forgotten spaces and uncovering ancient mysteries...I love that!
Being an Inquisitor might not be all it's cracked up to be at first. Sounds like it might be a lil rag tag in the beginning. Perhaps with a slip of authority, but I can't see too many caught up in the Grand Game taking you seriously...at first. Until you start busting some heads! heheh

It's not an alpha leak that can be hurtful to the developper.
I 'm not sure bioware care about it , if it's true my bet is it comes from EA.
And i think bioware should learn to keep their information safe , again having a full script on a demo is their fault.
People are always gonna crave for spoilers , don't put them easily at reach and then wonder how come it happen.

If we play as an inquisitor we`ll most likely be a Templar or a Seeker, since those in the past were the same, and now that the Nevarran accord has been declared null and void it seems to have reapeared. Still I don`t understand how we can play as the leader though, since Lord Seeker Lambert seemed to have control of it all in the end of the book Asunder. Maybe we start out as a common templar who works for Lord Seeker Lambert, but who is forced to choose right from wrong when hunting mages, choosing side in helping the White Divine`s peaceful salution or Lambert`s brutal methods. Maybe we`ll even choose sides in the Orlesian Civil War, between Gespard de Chalons and Empress Celene I to further our cause, which again could drag other countries and factions into it all.
Anyway if we take a look at the companions:
http://images.wikia..../95/Bild5df.jpg
These two we have seen before, they were even presented on the Pax panel this year, one is a Warden and the other is most likely Cassandra Pentaghast, since that image of Cassandra is also used on the elevator at Bioware.http://twitpic.com/7pitg6
Then there are these two:
http://images.wikia....7/7b/Bild4u.jpg
The person at the bottom of that image is certainly Cullen, you see his face and you even see some of his templar robes under all the other garments he wears. The woman above looks Rivain, especially how her skin color and jewelry goes, but somehow she seems a bit Egyptian too so she could be from Nevarra.
http://images.wikia....c7/Bild3ed.jpg
These two look like Tevinter Magisters, and they both control magic it seems. Look closley and you see they wield magic in each their own hand, maybe they are siblings? Both seem to be male as well, so maybe brothers. The reason to why I say these look Tevinter is because of their clothing, take a look at the similiar clothing of the Tevinters in the new Dragon age Comic: http://www.newsarama...id=4425&page=1
http://images.wikia....58/Bild2sd.jpg
Now these two are interesting, the one at the bottom is certainly an female blond elf (rogue), who seem to be wearing Orlesian clothing, the person above is a bit strange..his nose and hair looks a bit unhuman, is he a Fex?...kinda looks like a type of bird/human crossbreed to me, but then again he could simply be human, he at least looks like a mercenery and he is wielding a spear! Wielding a spear in DA3 would be epic!
If you read this below, which has been taken from this site: http://www.rpgcodex....le.php?id=8375 we get to know a few other companions. (if not they already mentioned above.)
• Dorian: Dorian Pavus is a magister. The title conjures fear of arcane masters who once enslaved nations. Dorian may wield power of the magisters, but he delights in not being what you’d expect of them. Brazen and clever, this outcast is on a crusade to rid his homeland of its corruption.
• Sera: Sera is young, frenetic, and a brat through and through. She revels in the athleticism of being an elf, of being different. But her culture isn’t elven, or, for that matter, strictly human. It’s the underbelly of the city. In her network of rogues, what you do is more important than where you’re from, and friends open more doors than [titles?]. Robs from the rich, keeps it.
• The Iron Bull: The Iron Bull is a long way from home, and prefers it taht way. A slap in the face of typically humorless Qunari, he loves drinking, killing, and looting-not necessarily in that order. The head of a vicious mercenary company, he’s known for excellent pay and brutal punishment. It’s been a ten year party, but the Bull may find that old loyalties die hard.
• Cole: A long time ago, a young man died a cruel death in a dark place. And now, somehow, there is Cole. Was he a spirit of a demon? Is he human now? Cole’s not sure it matters anymore. Hounded by memories that aren’t his, incisible in a world he can stalk like a shadow, the rogue must decide between joining the living or preying on them.
Hmm looking at these, Sera kinda reminds me of the blond elf seen further above, and The Iron Bull could possibly be the dude with the spear, it is not certain he is a kossith even though he is a Qunari. Dorian and Cole..hmm it could be the two mages, but then again, Cole is suppose to be different...if he has not possessed one of them.
I personally really dislike Cole, he was annoying to read about...and I hope he is not a companion.

They already have an idea of what we like by reading the forums. (And basically we like Cullen, Morrigan, silent protagonists, voiced protagonists and nothing at all.)

The sad part is, I was doing the investigations on this but our EiC posted the story on our site as soon as he can. He did put the disclamer on it being pure rumor at least, and that it is only from a survey and it's not confirmed.
Not sure if that makes a difference, but a lot of other posts have said its authentic news, which is far from the truth at this time.

I do hope, however, that we have a Kossith Qunari. There seems to be alot of humans. One Elf.
I don't want Cole as a companion. Working with him as an NPC in some extra story mission, sure. But...I really don't want to deal with him. He gives me the willies.

Now I know Cole is from the Asunder book, but I have yet to read it (due to no time, basically). The impression from the storyline I get is that hes kind of like Anders but even more extreme. A simple yes or no will suffice for an answer on that.
Curiously, no Dwarves in this one yet...sure they will pop up eventually.

Thanks
And I agree, its a lot of humans. I really hope there is a Kossith Qunari too, but we`ll see. None dwarves either, which is strange, then again the dwarves of Kal-Sharok keeps to themselves and Orzammar is in the Frostback Mountains. Still there could be surface dwarves around.
Cole is indeed a horrible character and yes he is a bit like Anders, just a bit more strange. xD

Cole, a more extreme Anders? I'd say no.

I'm not sure one can be more extreme than Anders.
What interests me is the return of proper stealth, which Cole's abilities remind me of . Given his description as a rogue, this seems to be even more likely

Cole gives you the willies? Which is precisely why he should be a companion!rapscallioness wrote...

Cole's story was one of the more interesting things going on in Asunder, IMO.

Do you know that inquistors have nothing to do with the Chantry right?Ukki wrote...
No forced inquisitor nor seeker nor templar, if so then is it is no buy. I will not play religious zealot. I´ve allways sided with mages anyway so this will not fly.
They used to be a group that was focused on fighting abominations, blood magic, etc.
No praying, no maker, just fight against mages that betrayed the law!!!
After seeing the story of DAIII, it's pretty obvious that group will be composed by multiple factions and it's going be neutral on that kind of stuff.
And this time they are not only focused on mages, they'll also have to solve the rest of the conflicts around, one way or another.

Personally, I insist on the fact that Bioware should recover old characters, not necessarily as party members; I would be pleased if any of them played an important or significant role once in the storyline.
Thanks for the info! If I have understood you correctly, Inquisition was created by the need to protect people, far from any religious fanaticism. It's good to know that.Personality Disorder wrote...

After reading this, it seems likely one can play a mage.

“A portal between the worlds unleashes hords of demons in the land, civil wars rip apart nations and the corruption is limitless. Someone is behind the shadows, drawing the threads which destroy the world. Time has come for the Inquisition.
Take the Inquisitor’s cloak and lead the only force able of bringing light into the darkness. Choose the direct method and gather your armies, send spies into the shadows or engage in a political war, make friends and use your connections indirectly: it is up to you how you lead the inquisition. But you’ll have to take lead of it from the beginning. Make your player a rogue, warrior or mage and set up your crew from up to ten (!) complex companions to lead them against those who attack you by systematically spying on, revealing and destroying them.”

"BioWare have seemingly been chucking Dragon Age 3 player surveys around like confetti and, alas, some of them have ended up landing on the internet, revealing key details about the upcoming RPG's plot, features and characters. Potentially. This is a survey, after all. When your doctor makes you fill out a form asking if you're allergic to nuts, that doesn't mean his surgery is filled to the ceiling with cashews."

Now as far as titles go, I like Dragon Age: Inquisition best. Mostly because The Breach makes me think of breeches and everything else that sounds interesting is hard to pronounce.

I still can't fathom how anyone thinks they are both male. I even asked my little brother to spontaneously say whether the second character looks more like a female or a male to him. He thought it was obviously a girl and he's seven.

I can only repeat myself. This figure is not male. No man on earth has hips like that.
