Cole gives you the willies? Which is precisely why he should be a companion!rapscallioness wrote...
Thnx Capt. Eldarion. Good post.
I do hope, however, that we have a Kossith Qunari. There seems to be alot of humans. One Elf.
I don't want Cole as a companion. Working with him as an NPC in some extra story mission, sure. But...I really don't want to deal with him. He gives me the willies.I'd love to have him as a companion...if not just to kill him later.
Cole's story was one of the more interesting things going on in Asunder, IMO.
Lol! I know, right? This fictional char. gives me the willies. Which of course means DG did a good job.
It would mix things up a bit. But.....ugh.....ahhh! lol. that guy. omg....ack.
He does seem like he would have some really useful skills, tho. Really useful.

Now as far as titles go, I like Dragon Age: Inquisition best. Mostly because The Breach makes me think of breeches and everything else that sounds interesting is hard to pronounce.Captain Eldarion wrote...

These two look like Tevinter Magisters, and they both control magic it seems. Look closley and you see they wield magic in each their own hand, maybe they are siblings? Both seem to be male as well, so maybe brothers. The reason to why I say these look Tevinter is because of their clothing, take a look at the similiar clothing of the Tevinters in the new Dragon age Comic: http://www.newsarama...id=4425&page=1
I still can't fathom how anyone thinks they are both male. I even asked my little brother to spontaneously say whether the second character looks more like a female or a male to him. He thought it was obviously a girl and he's seven.
I can only repeat myself. This figure is not male. No man on earth has hips like that.
Well looking at the face of the two mages it seems like they both are male to me, but then again I can be wrong. If it is a male and a female I`m glad, at least that means more female romance options. xD

The story certainly has possibilities and seems to allow the chance to choose a race at least. I prefer Apocrypha but I wonder who the inquisitor is working for as Grey wardens don't interfere, the Chantry already has seekers and I can see any other major organisation getting involved to bring peace
Don't count on it. Bioware has said many times that they won't be going back to the Origins-style PC. Voiced, human-only PCs is more than likely the future of the franchise.
I really don't mind it. We might someday see a spin off with another race or something, but I don't think DA3 will have race options. It's just too expensive (and a lot of disk space) to voice another race, and they're not going back to mute characters (thank God).
Plus it wouldn't fit the current story to play as a dwarf or a Dalish elf, for example. Dwarves don't use magic, so if the main purpose is to stop Mage - Templar war...why have a dwarf? They couldn't care less (especially if they live in Orzammar). Dalish elves are in their little world and they deal with the matter themselves, so it wouldn't make sense for one of them to get involved in the whole war.
So that leaves the humans...

One thing I do notice is the massive hints of a third party being involved.
I am curious...anyone thinking Flemeth at all in this situation, or is it just me?
Haha yes, possible Flemeth, or the God child *shrugs* xD

I agree with that. Providing voices for so many characters is a complete odyssey.

That's been discussed before and I guess it would make sense. She always seems to have a hand in what's going on around Thedas.
But at the same time, it would be just so very obvious. Everyone expects Flemeth to be the big baddie.
Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if Sandal turned out to be possessed by an Old God and turns bat****-crazy on us in the end. And then you have to decide whether to kill Sandal or try to seperate hima nd the Old God, possibly saving him, but also freeing the Old God in the process.
Seems like a very Dragon Age-y scenario to me.

Now I know Cole is from the Asunder book, but I have yet to read it (due to no time, basically). The impression from the storyline I get is that hes kind of like Anders but even more extreme. A simple yes or no will suffice for an answer on that.
Anders and Cole aren't alike at all. You can't make an apples to apples comparison of the two. Cole is ... unique ... and I can't think of another character to even equate him too. Maybe Connor or Feynriel would be the closest, but even those are poor matches.

Well, to be fair, it is just concept art. The companions will most likely look very different in the final product.motomotogirl wrote...
These companion pictures are kind of depressing, but hopefully it is just concept art. The guys are hideous looking, with the obvious exception of Cullen (or Guy-Who-Looks-Like-Cullen). And I also think the "second" mage is a girl. So far all the girls look pretty bad ass/hot while the three remaining guys are hairy musclebound sword-and-sorcery stereotypes. Bah.

Haha yeah, they look kinda hidious, but then again the DA concept art always has, just take a look at DA2 concept art:

I never even considered that the second one was male. It's clearly a female. My thought was that since the two are so similarly dressed, I was wondering if those two could potentially be the early concept art for the "marketing" main character. Dark, mysterious, hooded, with that infamous claw that made numerous appearances in DA2 but never really with any explanation why.Blackrising wrote...

Yep, my first though was also main character. Especially since the two versions use different hands to cast their magic, which makes me think of the whole 'two sides of the same coin" thing. And he/she looks somehow more badass than the other ones.

As a journalist it pisses me off because I work hard to make things accurate. Hell, I once got fed up with it and posted an example pertaining to Dead Space 3.
And to be honest, the co-op is not a huge issue at all, so I am not sure why journalists are latching onto it so much.

I was just browsing tumblr and some people were wondering why there were those white lines in the middle of the concept arts, and somebody suggested that the characters were naked behind them
