Well, this here says that not all Kossith have horns and that hornless Kossith are considered special and made for great things.

I know about what they say now it just that bioware were saying that they didn't change the lore to accomodate the new art style.

Yeah, they clearly made up the horns thing to justify making the Qunari more monstrous. They even said multiple times that if Sten were to appear again he would have the grey skin that Qunari now have but have since said that the Qunari are diverse and some have the bronze skin like Sten and some the grey. I don't know why they can't just admit that they changed things to make them look cooler.

Hopefully that Warden guy is a companion. He looks awesome! Though hopefully he is a new guy and not Stroud D:

It is likely Stroud, and not just because of the physical resemblence. Remember after the Qunari attack he mentioned he was heading to Orlais?

Ooh, what was the name of the dwarf you could help get into the Circle of Magi in DA:O? Dagna?
She could be a companion. She got her own epilogue snippet, so I always thought we'd get to see more of her someday. And she has a connection with the Circle and therefore with the war in DA 3.
It actually makes a lot of sense when you think about it.

I would welcome her to the crew! Though my first vote is for Sigrun! ^_^ It isn't that far fetched a scenario though to see Dagna again. Though I am curious as to why if it is true they decided to go with a 10 character team. I myself liked smaller intimate teams rather than a large number of squad mates though if done right I could be persuaded otherwise. My only concern is it might mean less lines and content per character. Though I could be wrong about that.

I liked the 9 companions we had in DA:O, especially since we had the campsite to socialise in etc. Made it seem kinda cosy. But then DA:O spent years in production so all the characters were in depth and interesting. 10 companions will be fine so long as they put equal effort into all of them, it would suck if out of 10 companions the majority of them are dull or carbon copies of each other.

Or like ME2:
12 Companions, almost all of them were made of pure win, but they had little dialogue on the Normandy.

i felt like it was ok. they did better with 12 than DA2 did with 6 or 7?

I would point out, that they wanted to give the Kossith horns in Origins but didn't implement it in time, or were able to implement it correctly during development.

I don't mind a retcon, since many cut off their horns or are born without them. It shows diversity in a race, like elves and dwarves.

Well, 8 companions, and they are promising what, 9 or 10 for Dragon Age III?

More can work if its a strong enough cast. Sometimes less works well too.

So, I was tracing one of the character concepts in hopes that I wouldn't have to keep squinting whenever I looked at the picture and I noticed something.

As you can see from my subtle pointer, the character has what looks like a dagger or sword strapped to her hip. At least I assume that's a hilt, although I haven't been able to figure out how the positioning makes any sense.
At the same time, the character is clearly a mage, unless glowing hands suddenly became a common thing.
So what I'm getting from this is that either this is the concept for the PC, which would explain the mage hands and the additional weapon as a sort of reference to the classes and the fact that the character looks like a female version of the character depicted above.
Or this might mean that mages can equip something other than a staff in DA 3. That would make sense for battle mages, I think.

Or I'm just reading WAY too much into this.

or they are bringing back Arcane warrior :innocent:

I'd be very surprised if they wanted to put a lot of resources into changing the art style again, far better to use them in other areas.

So Let's see.

Warden- warrior sword+sheild. Nic Stroud.
Seeker. Warrior. Two handed sword. probably duelist. Nic Cassandra.
Cullen- warrior templar, sword shield.

Elven girl- rogue.
The girl- mage.
Spear man- mage. But in PnP RPG chevalier will use spears.

Intresting who is healer?

Mike laidlaw i beleve, hinted that they quite favored this fine specimen of manhood to appear in a major installment ;)

It does look like they're gonna let us work with the classes a bit more. You know, if things are what they seem.

There's another pic with the spear/staff/trident guy. He's holding that out, but reaching for his sword at the same time. Cuz sometimes you gotta get up close and personal.

Idk if this is stuff that will make it into the game...but that would be choice.

And it would also show me that BW is trying to step up hard.

The fact that EA is sending out lawyers to get that info removed from gaming sites tells me there may be some truth to it. If it was all fake it would be a lot easier to just say on twitter or something. I personally don't mind being an inquisitor. Regarding the translated description, I like the idea of portals letting demons come through, but maybe that's just because I like the art of demon slaying.

i'd much rather kill a demon than some random theif who has to steal so he can feed his family. his daughter probably has to sell herself at the blooming rose just so her family can afford a shack in low town.

Oh god, I hated him. Mostly because of that whole romantic tension thing with Cassandra in the movie. The whole time, I was like "****, get your grubby paws of my girl!". And by 'whole time' I meant the 15 minutes I could watch until I got so pissed off at another movie shoving heterosexual romances down my throat that I had to quit watching.
(I get possessive when it comes to my (possible) future companions and LIs, can you tell?)

That's why it's still there and that concept art and sypnosis are gone, EA has been issuing take-down notices across the board to any site depicting Images from the survey, Exclusively.

After how crappy the movie and last game were, along with the earlier reports that they were going to rip off skyrim it is hard to get stoked about this game.

Since Bioware have some competent writers, I can't see them calling an organisation "the Inquisition" unless it's with the intent that people would be, at least initially, sceptical of them.

If you say Inquisition, people are going to think torturers. Well, and monty python.

I was thinking that part of it could be a sense of subverting the trope, or having the opportunity to turn what was a feared organisation into something approaching an even-handed investigation (and it even ties back into the marketing bullet points of deciding how to approach each situation).

The choice of name is surely deliberate, but that doesn't mean it implies religiously-motivated torture and killing, etc.

For all we know the Divine or some other VIP gives the player the title and power of Inquisitor (with all the legitimacy that implies in Chantry nations) but with carte blanche (pardon my Orlesian) to uncover the mystery and stop it as they see fit.

Oh yeah if this is accurate they are definitely going for this sort of approach. I like it, it will introduce an element of internal tension and it may be that the organisation will be what we make of it, that we can go for a fundamentalist religous approach if we want, or the opposite.

mmm I approve! He is the best looking rumored male squadmate I have seen so far. :P Actually Cullen comes out ahead but just not digging his outfit. I just don't get it, the fur and everything all in a layered effect personally doesn't look appealing. Though again it is concept art it could change in the development stages if this concept art/leak turns out legit.

To be honest I think all the female concept art look fantastic and bad ass but the men's fall short for me.
