I've gotten it more than a few times. It's worse when I'm hosting, because I feel guilty about dumping everyone else. I thought it was my own internet connection but after frantic checking I confirm it's fine and it's my connection to this game that is failing. Again.

Add me to the lists of disconnects, though, thankfully, I didn't get any gaming time in.  Every time I came back to my PC throughout the day, I'd been booted from Origin.

yep, i'm on ps3 and have been getting disconnected left and right for the last several days. last night i was disconnected 3 out of 5 games and 1 of the completed games began on wave 8. tonight, i've been disconnected several times... also, if i'm not hosting, i always start wave 1 under attack and that's if i don't get disconnected before it starts.

this sucks because it's obviously a fun game. hopefully they fix this.

 I'm having the same issue on my PC, and I just got the game a week ago. I really enjoy the multiplayer, but the disconnecting is killing me. I haven't been able to successfully complete a match of any difficulty in a few days.

I was not disconnected today yet, it is the good part. The bad one is that the Xbox Live is broken again and I cant play online anyways.

I dont disconnect much,only when those server shutdown appear out of nowhere.

Listen, you self-absorbed clown.   This is very simple, so I will word it simply.  You are wrong.  You are arrogant.  You are not helpful.

My PC is connected via wired ethernet directly to my router.  My router is configured to pass through all the recommended UDP ports, including 5659 and 6000.  My router is newer and has the latest firmware.  Like others here have been telling you, I game often and experience no problems or latency with other games.  I also don't experience lag issues in ME3 MP.

What I do experience is a maddening inability to complete 11 rounds.  As of the last two days, I have complete 1 of 12 attempts.   The others broke off suddenly and dropped me back to the MP start screen.  I know how to troubleshoot a networked client.   I've rebooted router and modem.  (Hell I even tried resetting them).  I've cleared all network related caches on my pc.  I've turned upnp on.   I've turned it off.  I turned Origin on/off in game.    

I am here to tell you that nothing is going wrong on my end of the transactions.

Whatever is wrong, there is nothing I can do about it other than rage at fools (yes, you).

Bioware/Origin/EA...whoever is responsible for the netcode/servers/customer satisfaction....please acknowledge this problem and let us know what you are doing to fix it.

You mad? First, my post wasn't directed at you. Second, other people have adjusted their set-ups and found a vast improvememt. If you have the optimal set-up and you still get dropped, maybe it is just karma kicking you in the a** for being such a d***. The EA servers are a well known problem (In all games), and there are well known things you can do to improve your connection to the servers. If they don't work for you, oh well, they will work for some people.

People lie and people exaggerate. You can tell them 20 times to stop using their wireless signal to play and they will likely not get dropped as much (except you apparently). So before you go off calling people names and such, realize that while the solution may not work for you, it may (and has) worked for others.

The majority of people CAN play this game without very much interuption, if that was not true then this thread would have hundreds of replies, instead of a few dozen. You likely fall under the acceptable losses category for EA, sorry.

i have had this problem once in awhile around once every 4-5 games but rly sucks when it disconects the moment the mission sucessfull screen pops up and you dont get your hard earned creds..... 8**(

This! Dropped me 4 games in a row today. I love loosing my consumables and time spent towards creds XD

I've played over 30 rounds without a single disconnect since the Retaliation DLC, so I think it's fair to say that they fixed the issue (at least whichever one I was having). Good luck to those of you who may still be encountering this junk.

Thought I'd bump up this old thread instead of creating a new one.
Other than the Disconnect earlier, I have few problems with the ME3 servers, about as much as I'd expect from EA servers in general.
However, my brother is still suffering pretty severe issues regarding the servers, disconecting many times. Because he is an idiot, he will keep trying to play the game over and over again and whilst that isn't the servers fault, the fact he gets disconnected repeatedly while I don't (And I have more playtime than he does my a small margin) is worrisome.
