Yeah I know people who buy/rent/borrow games JUST so they can get the achievements/trophies. They won't even like the game but they want the achievements/trophies.

That's not the point at all, actually the Mass Effect series is now and has been my favorite since the first game released back in 2007, I've been an avid follower and I've enjoyed each of the games so much, not just because I'm a sucker for a good story but I love the gameplay and choices you get to make and I've fallen in love with the characters. The thing is with the close of the story in Mass Effect 3 and after the Extended Cut DLC I've moved on, I still play multiplayer but this DLC appears to be a prequel to the final ending of the story. Nor do i believe it changes the ending in any real way. Besides I have other games to play and not all the time in the week to play all of the games I do have. Being a fan doesn't mean I need to jump at every DLC thrown at me, But I've earned all those achievements and I'd like to be able to continue to say "I love this game, and yes I have them all" because I worked for it. That means something to me, regardless of what people think about it.

I really want to do the underwater bits. That looks pretty damn cool. Also, I get to experience the raider even though I have a feeling it might suck. I've been spoiled by the reegar.

Nice to have some new single player content for a change. Looking forward to it.

Got one question i've been pondering though...it's about the longevity of this upcoming DLC. For those of us with a save right before the assault on Illusive Man's base, i'd like to know how long this will actually be? With From Ashes, it took me about 20 minutes to complete the Eden Prime mission and get Javik aboard Normandy, so i had to make a new character and play it the first thing in order to hear his complete dialogue and actually use him in game.

Part of it will be (like the underwater part). At least in the video they released Shepard goes underwater alone...

my guess that it WILL be a solo shepard mission. and it will provide a better ending and also make a path for another mass effect, with or without shepard. probably why bioware didnt want to redo the endings completely, leviathan ties into the endings somehow. so do the keepers, which are probably the creators.

It will most likely add a few lines about Leviathan, other than that expect the EC endings to remain the same

Screw Omega DLC. Don't ask for things we know already happened. What we need is completely new storylines which advance the Mass Effect plot. I want to know whats next. The comics and novels have done a pretty good job at telling what happened in the past and making DLC based on them would make them irrelevant which doesn't make sense.

Really? So how was omega retaken? Guess I missed a booker email on the operation...

Bridge DLC would be tough since shep is out of the picture post catalyst. This one will add some lore, omega will hopefully give us a temporary Asari squadmate with attitude. but both occur before the ending.

I think this is not an accident.

It's just a good excuse to the poor sales. This is the first story DLC to ME3 (EC was just a little bugfixing) - and the core fanbase will not buy Leviathan... because of the ending controversy.

So BW can say: "Oooooppppsss, bad timing!" instead of facing the truth.

To be perfectly honest I didn't play 2 until I beat 3 when it came out. After that every play through went from two to three.

---I'm starting playthrough number 5 on 2 for dlc =P
