No, it really is a bad ending.  It violates everything that ME and ME2 were about, everything we've been told about the games, everything we played through for two entire installments. 

Not that the rest of ME3 was that much better.

Agreed.
ME3 was quite boring and tedious. The ending was just the cherry on the top of a train wreck.
It had some good moments, like the Reaper against the Thresher Maw and the death of some characters...
But I didn't really like it.
Just my opinion.

Why are you people still here, posting negative stuff in a thread thats looking forward not back.. think its time for you to move on .. clearly you did not like the game unlike some of us who want to see more of it.

Just wanted to say. We don't hate the game and we dont hate other peoble. Just the ending!
But love really lov the series.

Sick of hearing about the damn endings. They could have been better but they're nowhere near as bad as everybody is making them out to be. I wish everybody would STFU about the endings already. THEY'RE NOT THAT BAD!

That's a joke, right? Bioware was just lazy with ME3 and the extended "ending" dlc was made with the least effort humanly possible, just like the whole game.
They had the chance to make the best game possible, a masterpiece remembered for years and what did they decide to do with this chance? Halfass an at best mediocre game that took a dump on the build up from the previous games.
If you keep accepting something that bad, they'll continue to make this mediocre stuff. This is freaking Bioware, they made Baldur's Gate, Baldur's Gate 2, Kotor, Dragon Age and Mass Effect... just thinking about those games makes me smile and now they keep descending to depths never thought possible.

If you're fine with this bland effort to be as lazy as possible, it's your choice, but I won't shut up about it, deal with it.

I just can say that they lost every credit they had with me... I love those games mentioned before but Bioware as it exist now will NEVER be able to create something just half as good as any of those games. It's a shame and they should think the same way.

It might be different -- and comments wouldn't show up on random threads -- if we'd ever been allowed to talk about the specifics, but we're locked out of the discussion threads entirely if we haven't given EAware money first.

We're disappointed, disgusted, maybe even feeling betrayed, and for that, we're told "you're not welcome here, you don't matter, the new customers we want are more important than the customers who got us here".

And as Caolla says, everyone who is buying the halfass crap they're putting out now is rewarding them for their new extruded gaming product approach.

Honestly, at the beginning I agreed about the ending, but even then I just felt ashamed of looking at people like you who keep saying it's "disgusting" "a failure" bla bla bla, like a lot of people are starting to say, just get over it, or start your own damn forum where you guys can keep going day in day out. And sorry if I'm not "respecting" your opinions, but you don't give a crap about others either, except those who think EXACTLY  like you, if you've lost faith in them and hate them so much, fine, good for you, I hope that makes you happy, but just do it somewhere else, every time I come look here, it's guysthat keep whining in every damn thread that can be attached to your views in some way, your whining and pretending like your opinions only matter, so don't go crying about being banned then or being told your not important, because you're not, if you were you would just get over yourself and do it in a normal way instead of this: 'Hello, I'm six years old and I want exactly what I want!' crap, I mean I might not be a hardcore gamer, but even with my handicap I'm a pretty good one, but this kind of going on and on and on like little spoiled brats is making me SOOO extremely ashamed, so seriously, just go somewhere else and cry with each other.

sadly people will never stop ****ing about the endings they could have been better yes were they the apocalyipticly bad world ending locust plague that people think? no and and they were fixed maybe not fully maybe not to everyones satisfaction but they tried(because no one here would ever admit that they didnt have to and theat the endings wernt that bad for fear of being castrated and hung by thier own guts by the forum comunity) people need to stop the btching move on and try to get a life (if their still ****ing after 4-5 months thats unlikely)

Liked Dragon Age 2, Liked Mass effect 2, and oh yea liked Mass Effect 3 and I dont think of any of these games as halfass. So I will encourage bioware to make new games and dlc cause I like what the put out so shut up and deal with it.

If that is true then people just complains and leaves, but they aren't. 

Remember the old saying that "first impression is everything" and that is where the endings messed up on even with the EC for some.

They have every right to complain or praise about the game. 

This leviathan better teach harbinger a lesson, lol.

Funny how the personal attacks and the "STFU" posts seem to come mainly from the defenders of ME3...


Just finished another playthrough of ME and ME2 in sequence... and was reminded of how much I was, at one point, looking forward to ME3. 

Until Origin, and MP, and clown rolling in combat, and the utter invalidation of most of what you had done in ME and ME2, and the cartoonish treatment of certain antagonists... and then the endings were revealed... and that was the icing on the cake.

No ones personally attacking anyone or STFU posting .. well at least i am not, as i can only speak for myself.

What i am saying is "leave" if you don't like the outcome of the game "completely" from these forums... cause going forward what can you contribute thats constructive if your stuck in the past and drag it into threads that have abolutely nothing to do with the ending or how the game plays

At this point i'm leaving the discussion cause even im being drawn off topic in this thread and am more excited about tuesdays release and revelations than this dreary stuff.



PS Dragon age 2 was and is a very very good game that may have been supported better had people not been so biiligerant about it. 

Sadly ive been unhappy with this community since then, as theres an element here that wants to knock everything bioware does now cause of their EA connections or whatever .,, which may explain why everytime i look up something new in these forums and see some reference to some past event "like how bad the mass effect 3 ending was"  i get so annoyed .... its directly effecting the games i like to play and want to see continuely supported.

Then just go somewhere else and stop repeating yourself with something you should already know you can't do anything about. Just give up, or open your eyes to some good things instead of all the things you don't like, simple as that.

are you kid or grown man? game is just ****ing game. when it's done, it's done. you think that Bioware developer team is lazy? wow, shock. I think that you have no appreciation. they worked so hard to complete this game. you just do nothing but blame. if they wouldn't make this kind of game, you won't enjoy many games like this. if you really hate the end, why don't you make your own game? otherwise, you'd better be quiet.
