Hi, just finished Leviathan dlc and totally loved it. The story was interesting, the fighting fun, I cheered when I realized that the companions actually have lines to say (yeah!), the lore got expanded, the length was good and there were even a few puzzles to solve! Brilliant. And yes, I dare to say it: For me, it was better than LotSB!
Please, please, please bring out more dlc like that.

So what choices would you have given the player if you were designing the DLC?SpEcIaLRyAn wrote...
Leviathan is too linear to be worthy of the mass effect name for me at least. Any choice you make in this dlc is meaningless.
Maybe a choice as to whether or not we want to accept Leviathans help. After all they are responsible for the construction of the reapers. PLus we know victory is still achieved without the extra help. Other than that I don't know really. I'm just saying that I know that there could've been more player choice involved.

Wasn't sure after playing through the first segment but boy-oh-boy after that, I really enjoyed the Leviathan DLC in its entirety. Really closed some outstanding questions. Liked it better than any of the earlier ones and as others have said, am really looking forward to the next one however, the Leviathon DLC will be tough to beat.

Finished an Insanity playthrough of Leviathan this weekend. Loved this dlc almost as much as LotSB. Finding out the origins of the Reapers was quite interesting. Deffinately worth the $10, it even took time away from GW2 lol.

BioWare, thank you for not making Liara a required squadmate this time. :-D

I can't thank BW for the Leviathan DLC because I couldn't have played it yet.
I can't buy BW points in ME3, it says the whole time I should try later. And don't start I could buy it in Origin store, because I can't, because I can't pay with PayPal, there is no such option.
Well, I hope a patch or anything will come soon so I can buy points to buy it and play it.

SInce I finally found my right account on here, thought I would share my thoughts.
Pros (Just about everything)
- Great Mood/Atmosphere
- Great Exploration (I put my gun down! WOOHOO!)
- Challenging combat, mp objectives were great
- Story was great
- Underwater was awesome
- Squadmates had dialouge!
Only things I can complain about is the fact not every crew member had new dialouge aboard the Normandy. I was expecting Joker to make some awesome Sea-Reaper jokes, sadly not ;(. Also, none of the choices really mattered. Leviathan was right up there with LoTSB if not better. (Main reason being I'm not a huge Liara fan)

Just played Leviathan and thought it was awesome - definitely worth the £6. I honestly think that if this DLC and the Extended Cut were both in the original version of the game, the response from fans would have been incredibly positive, especially compared to the backlash to the original ending. The Reaper's origin story and the trilogy's ending is actually really good - the original telling of it, plotholes and all, was the only problem.

I agree with Alex Kershaw. The original presentation of the ending was the problem. It was too quick and didn't explain certain things. First came the questions. Why did the two squadmates you brought with you when you where struck by the death beam suddenly stroll out of the crashed Normandy? Why was Joker trying to outrun the blast wave? Was the crew stuck on the planet the Normandy crashed on? Did the Mass Relays destory the star systems they where placed in? How did control work? How did synthisis work? Where did the Reapers come from. Who or what is the Star Kid? Then came the answers. The squadmates got picked up. Joker tried to wait for Shepard until the last minute before leaving getting caught in the blast wave as a result. The Normandy was not crashed for long. The Mass Relays didn't destory the star systems they where placed in because the crucible used a controled explosion. In the control ending you became the big boss Reaper replacing the Star Kid. In the synthesis ending on Extended Cut you saw how all life became one. The origins of the Reapers and the Star Kid where explained with Extended Cut and Leviathan. It is too bad that we had to wait on these things. Even worse it seemed that BioWare had a "Why didn't you like it?" attitude. They could have delayed the launch and worked on the game a bit more and then released a polished and finished product. The fans would have excepted the delay because before the game was released everyone was foaming at the mouth to get their hands on it.

I have to agree with most (if not all) of the people. Leviathan DLC was great. The explanation of how the reapers were created, and how they were responsible to begin with, the reaper ideal preservation of life through harvesting the other species, it's even better that just having the star child as the almighty being.
I just hope to see more DLCs similar, if not better, to Leviathan.

You can buy it right here on Bioware Social. Go to left of screen, to Profile, there's add BioWare Points. Don't know if you have tried that? It worked for me.

Loved leviathan, would have liked to see perhaps more game play in that last wet bit though, I'd been looking forward to playing while thoroughly creeped out.

I have just completed the Leviathan missions as part of a new play through of ME3. I thought it was a nice addition to the story, but still is a bit pale in comparison the LoTSB. That was hands down, for me the best of the DLC's so far created for the ME saga.
