The Reapers were better when they were mysterious, and you could kill one with enough guns.

Hey BioWare, is there any chance to release the full soundtrack of the Leviathan DLC and not only that one track, which is downloadable from the official Mass Effect 3 website? If yes, please do it. You would really make my day by doing this! :)

I hate the fact that the game's overall plot line is basically summed up as a finding a solution to a feud between organics and synthetics, even after Shepard solved the Quarian/Geth feud. It completely contradicts that whole scene on Rannoch. Plain in simple that's what mass effect is. A contradiction on itself...a complete waste of time. Seriously this series had so much more potential. Thanks for wasting my time Bioware!!!

ME3's ending is a contradiction of the first two games and everything they established.

Much of ME3's content contradicts what was established in the first two games.

Meh

You know its funny I at first thought that the ending to ME3 was going to be so amazing that I was even planning to make it the last video game I would've ever played. Than I saw the ending and I was like wait what? I did like the little mystery but other than that I didn't really get what happened. Than the EC came out and it did help a good deal but it was still nothing special. I was somewhat satisfied to the point where I could live with it now. Still I wish there was more. Leviathan just further emphasized the fact that Mass Effect is dead and gone sort of like Shepard in then ending but it still lives on in some form. Any future DLC I purchase will be out of simple curiosity and just a feeling that I need to finish up the trilogy. And forget about multiplayer its not even in the game as far as I am concerned. Also screw EA and what they have turned Bioware into. "When EA is ashes, than Bioware has my permission to die."

Played through Leviathan last night. I must say it wasn't short! Felt as long as ME2's Shadow Broker mission. I liked it, thanks Bioware!

I just wish they would show impact of DLC on ending. They don't have to change the ending, they can just insert a new route to the ending. Such as leviathan killing harbinger during final run towards beam and the explosion of harbinger knocking Shepard out instead of harbinger's beam. You still get injured and wake up alone walking up the beam and ending is pretty much the same...

I like that idea. I mean its not like Harbinger had any dialogue anyway besides "So be it" And even that was underwhelming in a sense.

Without seriously advanced space flight technology, Leviathan can't leave the planet you found it on, which was explained in the codex. All they do is use the orbs to enthrall Reaper forces, but they are limited by the number of Commandos willing to take them into enemy territory, which was explained on the war room terminal.

I enjoyed it overall but wish it had a greater impact on the ending. That said, it seems to set up the threat for Mass Effect 4 since Leviathan wasn't agreeing to help for altruistic reasons.

I completed this Leviathan DLC & my feelings about it are mixed.

I'm glad that it introduced us to Ann Bryson, her father, and Leviathan.  I'm glad that we were able to fight on that ship & I greatly admired the rough ocean water & the sounds as well.  The battles on the ship and in that outdoor environment with those enemy flying creatures was quite enjoyable.

I wasn't very pleased with the "hunting for clues about Leviathan" portion of this DLC.  I thought that it could have been done a bit more cleverly with a few more puzzles to solve.  The continual return to Dr. Bryson's lab was a bit tedious.

A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT WAS HOW BRIEF THE UNDERWATER EXPLORATION WAS!!!  ALSO, THE COMPLETE LACK OF UNDERWATER COMBAT!!!!  I would have loved to see much more time spent in that underwater environment - plus underwater combat.  Maybe you can make this happen in a future DLC?

Enjoyed it. Good job BioWare. :)
I still hate the ending choice, but I enjoyed playing the new scenes, especially how every character had a lot of new dialogue throughout, and I loved getting to mix it up with the underwater bit. Loved the ocean. I enjoyed Bryson's lab, also. It was nice to get some change of pace gameplay this time out. I missed more of that in the last two games overall. Very welcome.

Leviathan I now consider essential story. It makes the game better overall, looking forward to the next one. Anybody know how many sp dlcs they're planning to put out there? I'm kind of waiting around for them all before I complete my second character's playthrough, just in case there's a new squaddie eventually. After ME2, I'm cautious about it. Not planning to play the whole thing through more than the two times.

To date, I've actually liked the Synthesis ending a great deal. Particularly with the implications made in the Extended Cut. However, the new revelations about the Reapers in Leviathan make Synthesis and Control feel like complete surrender. The only reason I don't care for Destroy is because of the insistance that the Crucible, though stable enough to not wipe out organics (assuming you got enough assets) is still not stable enough to differentiate between Reapers (which are semi-organic) and pure Synthetics. You fix that and I'd go for Destroy. But I still think Refusal has the greatest potential to be the best ending.

I see they added 11 new war assets with this DLC. Make it so that an even higher threshold than normal (that can be reached without multiplayer) that must be reached in order to decide the outcome of Refusal. Heck, make it that you are treated to one final multi-tiered battle that culminates with you and Leviathan killing Harbinger and using the Mass Relays to destroy the Reapers.

And while they're at it, how about a DLC that makes the Citadel defense worthwhile? I've said it before but I will repeat that they should have a sequence that shows the Reapers when they take over the Citadel. If you did none of the Citadel defense quests, everyone gets massacred. If you did just enough, Bailey and most of C-Sec die while the civilians make it to safety. If you do the maximum amount of Citadel defense missions, Bailey and C-Sec survive and escort the civilians to safety.

Speaking of the Citadel, Bailey mentions there are honeycombs of tunnels under the Citadel. That would make for a great DLC where you repell different Cerberus and/or Reaper incursions in the lower structures of the Citadel. Maybe even delve into the history of the Keepers or show where they are made.

I'm actually holding out on purchase in hopes that I can snag it for half price around the time the Omega DLC launches. It's single-player, so what's the rush?

Bought this today and finished it, really enjoyed it. The last level was stunning visually, should of been in the main game. Nice to see members of your squad have dialogue in DLC too, great work Bioware :-)

I just played Leviathan these last couple days and loved it. It's absolutely great, has a fantastic, unique atmosphere in each new scenario, and adds a lot of depth to the whole story. To me it's the best ME DLC ever. I think it really does change the ending if you think about it, with what you know about the reapers now the whole affair has a radically different meaning and you consider the choices with a very very different POV.
But yes, it's true that some things here and there don't integrate perfectly, and I think it's probably best to play it very late in the game to get as few of these as possible. It's a common thing with BW DLC to activate missions a little to early story-wise, but I guess it's because people not so attentive to storyline just want to buy them and play them immediately. This one, with such crucial information added, was bound not to fit perfectly with every dialogue. My idea is that it's probably best to start it after Lesuss, and end it after Thessia.

Leviathan is way too linear. Its not a true Mass Effect experience.

I thought Leviathan DLC was interesting and filled a gap in the lore that was sorely needed.

Has anyone having trouble with the Leviathan DLC? I always get stuck in a ladder in the Dig Site. Shepard is supposed to get down from one, but he gets stuck in the air and doesn't get down. Can anyone help me?

No but it is a common bug. You have to reload a save I believe but if it keeps happening i think you have to restart that part of the mission.
